I have paid $7k for the attorney fee start from Dec.2021. Joshua promised me to negotiate with the private lenders. But later it is hard to reach them for the reply with Gaby and Joshua. Gaby always said she would check with Joshua, but later after couple weeks no reply. Also left many voice mails and emails with Gaby, hard for her to reply with luck. There was no any outcome, they always said they would try to reach the lenders, but I did not get any response from the lenders for any conversation, so I really don't know if they did anything or not. It has been one year, they suggested me to get another attorney to file with court litigation. Joshua said all the money had been used for one year, but I really don't know how much time they spent on my case for waiting one year in order to get paid all. This law firm was one of the worst and most unprofessional firms I have ever encountered. I sent an email to the attorney, Josh Sternberg through the Sternberg webpage. Though the web page claims "a return call in 7 hours" 12 hours later, I received no response. I telephoned no less than 10 times today, 05/14/2020. Why? The receptionist kept hanging up on me as she attempted to transfer the call. I'd call back and she giggling, would attempt to transfer me again, only to hang me up again. Exhausted, I told her to relay my information to the attorney. She assured me she would call him, and if he wanted, he would call me back. Well he obviously did not "want to." He never called back. If this is the type of unprofessional service he offers, I am thankful he never called me. What a waste of my valuable time. I am leaving this review to warn my fellow Yelpers about this lawyer and his secretary's terrible customer service! RUN!!!! read more

I HAD been a client of Joshua Sternberg"s for about 5years until he recently allowed a hearing to dismiss my case come and go without informing me. Two weeks later I get an email from his associate explaining my case was dismissed at this hearing and now my home and car are no longer protected. Then added if you"d like to re-file let us know! LIKE WTF???????? Re-file and pay you more money????? I have no money dummy which is why I'm in this situation!!! So while my trustee paid him over $12.000 on my behalf virtually nothing else had substantial payments made, now I could loose it all. In April of 2020 because of the pandemic we applied for and were granted a 6 month deferment on our house payments by Wells Fargo. After the 6 months were up we again applied for another 6 months and we're denied. We then called and applied for a loan modification. The agent then told us she needed to first put the 6 month deferment amount on the back end of our loan before starting the loan modification process. We completed the process with the agent. This was all on a recored line. We subsequently received a denial letter for the modification in addition to being told that because we had applied for the modification the deferment was null and void and we now owed the entire 6 months worth of payments! And, if we were unable to pay we could short sale our home or go into foreclosure! Wells Fargo would not take responsibility for their mistake so I began looking for an attorney to help. We're extremely happy we found Josh Sternberg! He was professional, realistic about our situation and immediately put us at ease. He kept us informed every step of the way in his transactions with Wells Fargo and was successful in getting our loan payment modified and the past due amount placed at the end of our loan.
