Anyways - Devon helped walk me through several options and convinced me to invest in some *VERY* conservative investments just to see how I felt. She also patiently explained VERY basic concepts to me - because she could tell that I was just confused and not very savvy about such things. After a few months, my money grew (obviously, before our current financial crisis), and before long, she convinced me to do systematic investments and get a little more brave with my investing (so now I'm doing "moderate/conservative" investing), so that my "nest egg" would grow (I love these comforting words she would use! HAHA!). Well - about a month into our current financial crisis - before it got *bad* (this was just as the markets started to dip), she called me to tell me that she feels that it's time to "hunker down" and that we need to move the money back into some very conservative postions (which I'm ALL for!). I've lost a bit of money - but not as much as many people I know. I'm also still a little worried (because I could have SO bought a new Dior purse with that money), but everytime I get panicky, Devon ALWAYS takes my calls (although I'm sure she has many other, larger and more important clients), and talks me down from the ledge.
