My mind and emotions tonight aren't letting me sleep and my mom taught me that the most healing thing a person can do is to express gratitude and do things for others. So I am sleepless and I'm here to express gratitude to the employees at the Norman branch of Communication Federal. Getting mom's assets into her trust in the middle of caring for her in her final days was really tough and she (as a depression-era saver) banked and invested at many places. I had to work with seven financial institutions and Communication Federal stood out for their kind, compassionate, human commitment to helping me when I most needed compassionate assistance. The manager at this branch, Chasity McCutcheon, was incredible. She personally shepherded the completion of our paperwork so I could focus on other things and she ensured that others with higher review authority called me personally to reassure me that, at least for Communication Federal, everything was going to be okay. Today, on the hardest day of my life, when I needed one thing to be easy, Chasity and her wonderful team made it easy to find out how we would cover expenses while we wait for dust to settle. The peace of mind this institution offered me (and my dearest mother in her last days) could never be overstated. Thank you, Chasity and Jeff and everyone else who touched our accounts. May you be paid back in kind one day.

Terrible customer service. Bank policy for customer access to account statements is inflexible and…read moreridiculous. It is either online or by mail only, no combination possible. If print by mail, then NO access to view them online. If online, then NO print by mail possible. Customer service representatives are frustratingly UNHELPFUL!!! This issue has been so inconvenient for me that I am seriously considering moving my account to another bank! I'm fed up with Armstrong!!!

If you need a business account this bank is NOT for you. The staff is not equipped to answer…read moreimportant questions about the business accounts and will give you inaccurate answers. You will not know you have a $1000 limit on your BUSINESS card until it's too late. You will find yourself at the lumber yard MULTIPLE times unable to buy material you have already loaded because your limit can only be temporarily raised and well it's 7:30 AM and they won't be in till 9AM. You will be told there is NO mobile deposit limit when there's actually a very small limit. Those were my main concerns with getting a new business account. I asked those questions along with a few others and just got whatever answer got me in the door apparently. I hate to say it but you're better off at one of those big banks if you're running a business.
