I would like to hear from someone who has recently had an event here? March or April of 2025.

This venue was shown on KHOU 11 for fraud. Do not do business with this venue. There are lots of other places.

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. It made our anniversary special.

Everyone that we worked with at Forever 5 was kind, helpful, and understanding. Wedding planning was a lot, but they made it easier by always responding quickly, somehow having all of the answers to my endless questions, and day of wedding was ready to help where they could. beyond being a beautiful location with wonderful getting ready spaces for both the bride and groom, I don't know what I would have done without their open house. We found our wedding planners and DJ at that open house and they were truly amazing. Forever 5 had a wonderful list of recommended venders as well, we were not required to use Forever 5's recommended venders but ended up liking them and went with venders off their list. As a bride that compared what felt like hundreds of venues, Forever 5 had the best bang for your buck when it comes to beautiful spaces and especially the cocktail area, I toured may of places where cocktail hour felt shoved in a corner, but at Forever 5 with the beautiful green space and bistro lights I could not have asked for a better location. If I were to do the wedding all over again, the first thing I would do is book Forever 5, no questions about it. Additional note, we fell in love with Forever 5's arches at the ceremony location with all of the beautiful vines and leaves incasing them but wanted an early March wedding, so we did not have the original look we loved. But let me tell you it was just as beautiful! All of the trees surrounding the location and the pond really pulled through and made everything look picture perfect.

You drive in and there's a small sign that directs you to the right for Big Sky Barn. There is someone outside directing you where to park - either in the small parking lot to the left or some spaces to the right. Ladies, there are a few rocks so be careful walking to the Chapel and the Big Barn with your heels! The Chapel was a decent size and you are met with amazing windows in the front that shows the green trees outside! Makes for an amazing backdrop to say your vows, though the lighting coming in may not be the best contrast for photos! I liked the beams and the rustic barn wood used to decorate the chapel - the only thing I saw wrong was the pews were not evenly spaced and you can move them back and forth so it may look a bit in disarray in photos. They should take the time to line them nicely prior to each event. The Big Barn was where the reception was next door. Fairly large, held a party of 100ish comfortably. The tables were decorated nicely with flowers and the combination of long wood tables and round white table clothes were a nice contrast from each other. I liked the beams and drapery but those light fixtures were fantastic - I was a huge fan of the chandeliers with the bird cages around them, added a bit of character to the space. The grounds between the chapel and the big barn was nice for cocktail hour - there were games, like cornhole, to keep the kids busy but they were mainly running around the large space. You can walk down the stairs to this gazebo covered in flowers, the trees were covered with twinkly white lights and there was a "little" (actually really steep) bridge below to take photos at. This makes for a really pretty outdoor space at night. You can look down from the large deck as well, and the deck has it's own wood burning fireplace as well as a chair swing. Definitely nice to be outside after dancing on a lovely Texas night. Overall, the venue was pretty and if you want the rustic barn feel, this is it! It's so close to Conroe though and the water, I wish there was some water views or even lodging on site for guests/wedding party. They have enough space for it. This venue feels like it's in the back of a forest! Magical none-the-less!

However the reason for a 1 star review was because this place already has bad reviews about the staff but I need to warn anyone who wants to book this place about the head of the staff. Specifically Amber... now i genuinely don't use or like profanity but this specific person can only be described as a straight up CUNT. To start this hippo didn't bother with any minor issues about anything we asked and couldn't care less or be bothered. We tried fixing the speaker at the wedding and she said she doesn't know anything about it and wouldn't even bother to help or ask anyone to help. Her main objective was to constantly rummage and look through the groomsmen lounge to check for alcohol because we didn't buy the drink package (There wasn't any alcohol that they were looking for with her goons of staff). That is genuinely the least of problems. The wedding program went a little past schedule and she literally came up to me while in the middle of hosting the wedding while i was calling up the brides family members to do speeches and said to cut it out fully because we were a few minutes behind. (The families were incredibly upset with me for obvious reasons because there was immediate family that also wanted to say a few kind words to the newlyweds but couldn't because she couldn't stand the wedding taking a few minutes longer). Unless this "person" is terminated or is not in charge of staff and everything at your wedding i would highly advise not doing a wedding here. MANAGEMENT PLEASEEEE FIRE AMBER!!!

The chapel is lovely: small enough to see and hear everything, yet large enough to accommodate your guests without being cramped. Beautiful structure, too. The actual facility was very well tended, with a gracious and attentive waitstaff. Food was on the average side, and the buffet line did get crowded. An ample dance floor and space to dance along the "aisle" between the groups of tables. Restroom was clean, stocked with various essentials (lint roller, tissues, lotion, other toiletries) and well maintained. Navigating to this venue can be a bit intimidating. Located off of a side road (no traffic signal) that intersects with Hwy. 105, you feel as if you're driving into the deep woods until you reach The Carriage House. It is a very unique setting, and when you leave, the road gets very dark! Parking is ample, but be aware that the parking lot itself is actually stones and rocks (a bit difficult to travel across if you're wearing high heels). This is an enchanting location, and since it's obvious that only one event is occurring at any given time, I can clearly see why a bride and groom would choose The Carriage House.

So needless to say, we did not have a lot of time for wedding planning. Lynn- the owner- made everything so simple. She was very straight forward regarding what was or was not included in the rental fee (included: access to building all day, chairs, table, set up, and more). She was also able to recommend vendors that she had worked with in the past and had done a good job. All of the recommended vendors were Conroe based- and many knew each other and had worked together. The venue is large enough to fit 300 people, but we felt it was perfect for our 125 person wedding. While there was an option to do the ceremony on the deck, we chose not to since we were married in June. ' Ultimately, the reasons we chose Waterpoint were: 1. scenery- the building itself was very pretty, but more than that...the views over the water at sunset were spectacular- and made for great pictures. 2. Lynn and her flexibility. She allows you to use any vendor. It's a full weekend rental (no rush to geteverything out by a certain time the night of the wedding). 3. Outside of town (and therefore, much more affordable than the venues we looked at inside the loop) 4. You're allowed to bring your own alcohol and there's no corking fee. Overall, we highly recommend Waterpoint
