I have NEVER had anyone talk to me as nasty as the "owner" did this morning. I was explaining to him the situation that we have always been allowed to park in this spot and there are no tow signs. He was so rude and disrespectful and talked to me like I was a dog. I would never ever give these jerks any business. These people took my payment over the phone and told me they would be here in 45 minutes at the most. An hour later I call back and the same woman transfers me to the guy who was supposed to change my tire. He tells me it'll be 3 to 4 hours and when I say "What?" He answers "Did I stutter???" Yes! Absolutely recommend without any hesitation. Here's why: Immediate response to my message inquiring about a quote. Excellent customer service and no-nonsense responses. Excellent communication as far as price, ETA, possible issues with our very old and somewhat buried and flat trailer wheels. Obvious skill and expertise in moving two very challenging trailers from our private yard, maneuvering around tight corners, avoiding trees and so forth. Use of the right truck and equipment for the job. We had a loaded/covered trailer, an old airstream and a beat up/loaded junk trailer needed to be moved from one property to the other. Rick showed up, did an assessment on all three, went over any possible issues and was straightforward about what he could safely and effectively do for us. [poop], I get it... getting your car towed sucks, but this review is for the classless act they have "managing" the office. Not sure if this review will help or hurt them, but for the sake of knowing what you're working with ... here it goes *the owner, Rick, is a sweet human. He is kind and patient, did not have one complaint AT ALL about working with him. In fact, once we got in the car the first time after meeting him my partner said "ya know, everyone needs a pay day.. we are just in the mix of it for this guy, and I'm glad to be a part of the exchange of services".... no harm, no resentment, just is what it is .... So here's the story.. I convinced my partner to park truck that is for sale in a near by shopping center where there were other cars for sale parked. We didn't know until we called the property manager (after it was towed) that those vehicles were from a local dealer with an agreement -- ok, whatever, my fault, I'll fix it. We proved ownership, then had to go get one extra supporting document. My partner was unable to come along for the second trip due to a meeting, so I parked at my nearest (legal and safe spot down Ashley river rd about 10 min walk) and went to go pick up the truck. When I was arriving the office manager (who wasn't there the first time, so Rick had to come do her job........... lol) was locking the door so I said loudly "hi! I'm sorry! I'm here!! I had to walk!" She said something in return, got in her car, and literally dusted me as she peeled away from the office....... THIS. THIS IS THE PREMISE. It truly disgusts me that this human exists in this nature. Why is this behavior necessary? Whatever it is, my hope is that her eyes open real wide to the reflection of her character in the world. This is exactly what we need less of, especially given the nature of the times. I had to call Rick again (about 5 times) so he could once again come back and "manage the office". I apologized that he had to come back again, and mostly I'm sorry that THAT CHARACTER is representing his company. Just imagine how impeccable your business could be with a considerate mind. She isn't considering people, your customers, so what makes you think she considers your success? In all, if you want to screw someone's day up beyond just a bill.... call Charleston towing because Rick's manager can't manage poop.... not even an ounce of human decency. Nobody ever has a positive experience with a tow company just because no one ever wants to deal with one. We had a vehicle of ours towed and for somewhat good reason. The car did not have to be towed but it was still deserving. The vehicle was at an off-site location far from their main building. After some difficult communication, we set a time to meet that was an hour away and after showing up early, the man set to meet us was still late. They refused to give us the vehicle despite proper forms and we had to set another time to meet. A few days later, the second meeting came and the employees that met with us felt like making our lives more difficult due to their pettiness. A man living nearby to the lot even threatened to use lethal force against for being near to his property, which is where we were told to go. The situation was finally resolved after a week but the parties involved pettiness and pride made wha should have been a seamless interaction, more difficult for everyone involved. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My car got towed and when I called the number on the sign, the lady that answered the phone was BEYOND rude, had no compassion, and unprofessional.Asking why I called and if she could help me with something. I repeated myself twice asking for information on my vehicle and where they were located. She asked again if she could help me with something b/c the office was closed. She finally gave me the address and cost but was rude again about the office not reopening until 9am. No one would let me get my vehicle until the office opened. If you are going to have someone answering the phones working "customer service" she shouldn't do it with a stick in her ass. read more

This company watches parking lots and towed me out of a GUEST parking spot at an apartment complex where I was visiting my friend. They said they "watched me leave the property (I walked to meet my friend who is a resident of the complex) at which point I was illegally parked." The signage of the guest parking states it is only valid for guests of residents and for up to 24 hours, but it does not state that the guest must remain on the property at all times. I would understand towing a car from a resident/reserved spot but from a guest spot?? I can't comment on the roadside assistance services of this company but I would think twice because their employees are sketchy and trying to find a way to make quick money. read more

Blew my tire out last night, Google a towing company and called this company. Very friendly and caring. I gave my location, and was told I could get a ride home and they will pick my car up and deliver it to my home, instead of sitting in the car on a busy highway waiting on them. I got a call right before the tow truck got to my home, made a very reasonable payment with my credit card. The delivery driver was very friendly, and parked my car without any problems. Very happy with this company. I hope nobody needs a car tow, but if you do, I highly recommend this company! These people are terrible. They are supposed to report that they towed a vehicle within thirty minutes per Charleston city ordinance and within an hour according to South Carolina code of laws. It was a nonconsensual tow and they have to report it to the police. They never did so I reported the vehicle stolen to the police and my insurance company that night and spent the next day and a half worrying about my car being stolen. I only found out about my car because the private property manager from where it was towed told me this was the company that has the towing contract. The city of Charleston passed an ordinance to ban this type of behavior yet they are still doing it. read more

My car was towed by them and I stopped them while they were hooking my car up and was told to get the car back it was $102.50, but I could only pay in cash. I didn't have that on me so I immediately got an Uber to the towing place and paid via card. At no point while paying was I told it was $211 since the $102 fee automatically doubles once your car gets to the lot + a $6 storage fee.
