Great. Was just passing through with a tow dolly I suspected was a bit out of alignment. Corbin's is always my #1 choice for all things trailer and hitch. They've installed my hatchback's hitch and my flat tow system. One time there was a small wiring issue after an install and they even sent their tech to my house to fix it, which he did within a few hours. They always communicate clearly and quickly and are totally transparent about their costs. Comparing their prices for equipment, you can tell they're fair and not marking things up astronomically. If I could give 10 stars I would, I was traveling through Charleston and had a incident which damaged my tow equipment on my car, which made it impossible to tow. I searched yelp and found Corbin's. I contacted Steve, he told me to bring it in and he would take a look. After he inspected the damage he said he could make the repair, they were extremely busy and he asked if i could leave the car for a day and he would squeeze me in. He did just that, the price he charged I felt was more than fair. I was in a jam being 900 miles away from home, and most likely will never be a repeat customer Steve treated me like a long lost friend/customer. Corbin's saved the day!! I had a hitch install set up with U-Haul a full week before a cross country move and they jerked me around and were a total waste of time. At the last minute U-Haul let me know they couldn't do it and actually recommended I go to Corbin's. I called Corbin's Tuesday night desperately asking for a hitch to be installed by Thursday morning. The woman on the phone was so calming and helpful and set me up to drop my car off Wednesday and they would work on mine between existing appointments. Everything was ready for me to go Wednesday afternoon and they took the time to make sure I knew how to work the hitch and confirm all the connections were set up properly. Steve was super friendly and made sure I had what I needed. After the mount install I asked for help with a hitch I'd purchased from HF. I give so many bad reviews that when a company is EXCEPTIONAL I want to sing about it. Corbins Hitch, 4534 Durant Ave, North Charleston has gone way above the normal service a business gives...Let me explain. I purchases a 5th wheel hitch and bed rails for my Ford F-250 Truck . Corbin's installed these and I went home satisfied. Only when I went on "YouTube" and saw a video of a truck destroyed due to the hitch breaking loose; did I begin to investigate mine. It seems the distributor who provided Corbin's with my 20,000 lb capacity 5th wheel hitch only provided rails that were rated 18,000 capacity. This was NO FAULT OF CORBIN'S . There were no markings on the rails and nothing in the installation guide to indicate a capacity mismatch. I contacted the company who made the rails and they confirmed in writing the true rating of only 18k. Here is where the Service and integrity of a company stands out. Steve Corbin agreed with my findings and cheerfully made an appointment for me to come back and have the correct 20,000 lb rails installed. They spent almost 2 1/2 hours correcting my problem and never so much as asked for a dollar more. It is clearly evident these people care more about integrity than the buck. Sometimes you shop for the lowest price you can find and think you made a good choice only to realize service wise you are on your own. Corbin's was not expensive and the price was fair . I called to price a hitch and received a lot of friendly help about determining what my choices were. I was able to make an appointment for installation. It took them all of 30 minutes to install the hitch and I was good to go. I read a review that addressed a concern about the location in North Charleston, but I felt perfectly safe. They did the RIGHT thing! We are RV full-timers passing through and needed to have our Brake Assist (Air Force 1) installed. It was apparent Corbin's installer knew what he was doing but unfortunately he cut the brake light cord too short and neglected to install a 2nd Check Valve. Well, over the next month we encountered several problems on the road as a result of this. I finally called Corbin's, spoke with Steve Corbin who couldn't have been nicer and more professional when I explained the problems. Long story short, without the need for me to provide do-over repair receipts he gladly refunded the amount of money I was asking for to cover expenses incurred as a result of them "dropping the ball." I couldn't ask for anything more and I will happily return to Corbin's and recommend them whenever I can. Mistakes happen, but it's how a company rectifies problem is most important. Just had a great experience at Corbin's, and had to tell someone about it. I was having trouble getting my old license plates off my car, so I walked across the street to Corbin's to see if they had any advice. Without a moments hesitation, owner Steve told me to get the car and bring it over. Within five minutes the guys there figured a way to get the old plate off and secure the new one, including supplying the parts. We highly recommend Corbin's Trailer Hitch Service! We visited and called 4 other places to help us with a simple issue on why our brake lights and turn signals no longer worked when we hooked our Jeep up to our Motorhome. They have always worked fine for almost a year since we bought the Jeep in 2014. We started trouble shooting the situation ourselves and figured out the problem was in the Jeep. After being turned down by 3 other businesses because they were to busy or didn't want to mess with it, we were referred to Corbin's by a U-Haul business. We called and they could help us in 30 minutes. We headed over there right away and within 30 minutes they found the problem in 2 burned out tail lights due to a bad setup when we originally had the wiring harness put on last year from an RV service in Sagle, ID. Corbin's fixed the wiring, and some of the installation of the bulbs and replaced the tail light bulbs. We were on our way within an hour! Since we were from out of state, did not know the area, and had been working to resolve the issue for 6 hours, our stress level was pretty high by the time we reached Corbin's. Steve at Corbin's was extremely calming and assured us our problem would get resolved! He and another gentleman did all that and then some.
