From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. This venue is so affordable and really has tons of amenities like classrooms, free parking, and onsite catering assistance. A special shoutout to Kim and Donna, whose professionalism and attention to detail made planning effortless. They were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The * AV setup was great, with top-notch technology that made presentations seamless and engaging. Only issues were finicky clickers, but we switched to our own and they were finicky too! The space itself is modern of maybe a little dated, comfortable, and well-equipped for any type of meeting or event. Parking was convenient and free, and the overall atmosphere was both professional and welcoming. If you're looking for an stress-free, high-quality venue with exceptional staff, UofL ShelbyHurst is the place to go. We will definitely be back! It's a big room with great acoustics, so the music sounded great. The seats are comfortable if a little snug when there's a full house. I do have one complaint, though. Their bathrooms and water fountains are hard to find. I eventually did find them, but it was a bit of a journey. But I would gladly come to another performance here. It's a lovely space. I'd just sneak in a water bottle.

I never found out. Then there is a whole other table for drinks where you have to buy a ticket for, which didn't concern me because I just had water. I got the fish with rye bread and tartar sauce. My side was mac and cheese and I tried a couple of my friends fries. Everything was hot and fresh although taste was lacking. The fish was pretty bland and the mac and cheese was so yummy looking in the pan, very thick and cheesy, but it hardened in my bowl and was pretty flat overall. Also we got there early which was a good idea because 5 minutes after we sat down a huge wave of people arrived and the dining room filled up to capacity.
