Art Deco lines throughout, whether it's the main design of the building from the front, the beautiful rotunda, the little points here and there. This is an all volunteer staff(very friendly) that operates the Saturday morning and afternoon excursions. You pass some horse farms and gentle rolling hills culminating in a stop at a stunning view of an old trestle bridge over the Kentucky River. The bridge deemed unsafe for railroad travel is used for bungee jumping now believe it or not. At $20 for first class in an air conditioned car(lower for other options) plus a small museum of old railroad memorabilia it was an inexpensive way to spend the day. The one downside is that there is no bathrooms on the train so remember to go before you leave. Also, perhaps spend some time in downtown Versailles visiting the cute shops and the coffee shop there.

I had the Chick Fil A and it was fresh and the service is always good! We also got my son Graters Ice Cream - it's a small spot on Terminal A. Rental cars - it didn't take long to see an agent about our car rental (Alamo). The drop off was easy. We flew SunCountry on this trip and flights were on time and the plane was practically empty on the way to Cincinnati.
