My son hired them to paint our house with 20 foot high ceilings. Dangerous work in its self being that high up let alone painting at that height. The work the did was fantastic and very detailed. Charlie was very helpful in the color selection process with my wilfe and gave us a very nice paint job to our new home. The crew working with Charlie were very nice and helpful in moving the furniture and sttting up as well as cleanup. I will say I could not find a single drop of spilled paint anywhere after the work was completed. I will be only using Charlies Painting LLC. in the future moving forward. This is not a crew that's showing up in painters whites. In fact, one showed up hung over and threw up on our yard upon arrival. Owner complained the entire time about not making any money on the job. Throughout the job the painters had to be reminded of the scope and to hit each surface with two coats. read more

I expected to come home to a lot of clean-up and putting things back where they belong. What an awesome surprise! I have hired many painters over the years - Charlie's Painting is hands down the best I've ever hired. Charlie and his crew painted my garage (3 coats of mud before painting), pantry (hand painting around over 100 small shelf hooks), two walk-in closets, laundry room (including replacing drywall). The spackling done was superb - you couldn't even tell there were any repairs made. The crew came in when they said they would and worked hard throughout the day. They did a walk-through to see what was to be done, they reviewed their schedule and based their start date to what our schedule was, they called the day before to confirm, and once they arrived the day of the job, everyone was professional and respectful of our home and privacy and did a great job. He came right out to look at the project, sent a prompt and reasonable bid including all labor and materials, and did impeccable work -- beautiful quality paint job with exact lines and perfectionistic caulking and trim. He met our requested timeline, matched our paint color in his preferred Sherwin Williams brand, and communicated frequently about arrival times for different days and between coats. I would HIGHLY recommend Charlie and his painting crew. They were professional, courteous and friendly. Their work was impeccable. Charlie was diligent in contacting me regarding their arrival time. We are DIY people, but the task of painting a two story great room and foyer, and kitchen/dining area was beyond our abilities. This massive job was met without hesitation. Charlie and crew did a great job painting my basement. They did the job in a timely manner. The only reason I would not hire them again is because at the end of the job when I pointed out some imperfections, he got really annoyed. I feel like if I'm paying my money and I see something I want fixed, what is the problem? He even went as far as to say I was bugging him (of course this is after he got paid). He did come back and fix the problem areas but he took my can of paint that I paid for. I guess he thought I wouldn't notice. I called him about my missing can of paint and he tried to deny it at first. I guess he felt bad about it (being that I had tipped him) and ended up sending me a check in the mail for the paint. That was very petty and broke my trust in him as a business owner. read more
