In between complaints he tried to dump on me all about how difficult his life is. After asking him to leave my property he decided that throwing his used soda cans out of his wife's van was a smart idea. Just so unprofessional. I realize now that it was a total con job. Not only did I pay him for a half of the day but he only actually worked for about 45 minutes and I'm pretty sure he planned it that way, ..."annoy em enough, complain enough, act foolish enough"... he succeeded! I ended up doing the job myself, a female, at 60 years old. I do NOT recommend J&J's Home Service unless you love being taken advantage of.

Business Review for Beller Logging…read more We recently partnered with Beller Logging with the goals of enhancing wildlife habitat for deer and turkey, improving access to our wooded property, and generating some income. From the very start, Gary Beller listened closely to our objectives and delivered on the full scope of the project with exceptional professionalism. Gary's collaborative approach set Beller Logging apart. One aspect we truly appreciated was how thoughtfully Gary managed relationships with our woodlot neighbors. Living about 10 miles from the property, we were grateful that he recruited and compensated a nearby neighbor to keep an eye on the logging equipment. We found that this fostered goodwill in the community. In fact, an adjacent landowner was so impressed with Gary's work that they hired Beller Logging to perform the same style of harvest on their property. Gary accessed that job using the log landing on our land and, in return, fairly compensated us for that use -- a true win-win-win for everyone involved. Although he offered us the option to install a trail camera to track the number of truckloads leaving the property, we never felt the need. His log accounting was accurate and fair, and the revenue from the harvest matched closely with his initial estimates. We were extremely satisfied--not only with the financial outcome but also with how well Gary fulfilled our vision of a light harvest that preserved mature trees for wildlife habitat. The final results exceeded our expectations. Beller Logging brings a serious level of investment and professionalism to the job. With millions of dollars in well-maintained, expertly operated equipment, the efficiency and precision of the work was almost mesmerizing to watch. His team, including his son-in-law Pat, was friendly, knowledgeable, and highly competent. They operated with the kind of skill and efficiency that comes only from years of experience. It was truly impressive to watch them in action. We'd also heard horror stories from others about deep ruts and long-term damage left behind by logging operations. Our experience couldn't have been more different. Gary's team used corduroy techniques--placing tree tops in wet areas to stabilize roads--and even offered dozer work to help improve an existing woods road. We hired them for this additional task and were thrilled with the results. They pulled soil from nearby areas to cover the corduroy and smooth the trail, significantly improving long-term access. It was a smart investment with outstanding results. In summary, Gary and his crew delivered in spectacular fashion on every element of our project. They improved the land's accessibility, enhanced its wildlife habitat, and left it better than they found it--all while showing integrity, respect, and true craftsmanship. Beller Logging is a family business, serving the northern NY for over 40 years. At Beller Logging & Excavating, we use an environment-friendly, cut-to-length system. Rather than skidding, a forwarder is used to carry the logs out of the woods and prevent damage to standing trees. Storm damaged or uprooted trees can be harvested as you wish. We keep stump height as low as possible. All of our work is done in accord with sound forest management principles, and existing woods roads maintained to their original condition.
