I was worried about the transition especially because she doesn't seem to do well with change and also because she had loved the Bryant Bright Ideas so much that I didnt think another daycare could top it. I was very surprised! She adjusted immediately and loves going to school here! She is 3 years old, has great teachers and all the other staff members are so nice and welcoming as well. Even the lady that runs this location is as nice as she can be. She always says "hi" and "bye", "have a great day." My daughter is always coming home telling me what she has learned that day and how much fun she had. I always feel like my daughter is being well taken care of, being treated right, learning, and is safe. Which is so important with childcare. If my daughter is ever sick and running fever, they call me right away and I'm able to run and get her. I've had a previous encounter with a daycare that wouldn't tell me when she was sick, so this is something very important to me. I also know that someone can't just come in the school and check her out. They use a thumbprint system and if you send someone else to get your child, you have to write a note with your DL beside it, take a picture of it, and email it to the school. I love the extra steps that help ensure my childs safety!

However, Ms. Carrie's Day School treated me and kid like family. My daughter started there at 10 weeks old and stayed there until she was 3 years old. They nurtured her, helped potty train, and made sure that she met her milestones. The owners and director were great at communicating with me and if I had an issue they made sure we came to a solution. The only reason that my daughter left this daycare was because I felt like she outgrew the daycare and needed to start school. I love Ms. Carrie's Day School. Now I will say though once my baby got old enough to hit the playground, she would come home looking like a dust bunny! lol That was frustrating but realistically they can only do so much. A kid is going to be a kid.

The building was bright, clean, and smelled fresh (I don't know how they do it!). The price was great and it was close to our home. We moved our daughter to this school and kept her there until she was preschool age. She just needed more school-oriented projects, rather than daycare, at that point. But I do believe Kid's Academy provides the state recommended curriculum for the appropriate ages. There is incredibly low turnover here. The staff is wonderful, minus one or two individuals but that's just life. They are regularly open and trustworthy. We moved 10 miles one-way from the school but still decided to place our son with them after failing to find a place closer to our home that was both affordable and acceptable. I wish they were closer, but we love them!

AWFUL! Don't ever take your children here. My son received…read morethe most deplorable care here. He would scream bloody murder every day I dropped him off here and I later found out why. (My son was a year and a half.) Another child told me they left him in a playpen and would just let him cry. The same child told me an employee would scream at her would she would be crying. One night I came to get him and the worker (same one I was told later that was the screamer) on duty said he "had a scratch on his nose". When I walked up to him I noticed he had blood on the inside of his nose. :/ She preceeded to tell me a school desk had fallen on his FACE! WTF? HOW does that happen if you're watching my child?! Guess what. It doesn't. I had to take him to the ER to make sure his nose wasn't broken. Completely negligent care. Doesn't surprise me really considering where it's located and who works there. (By the way this is a DHS recommended daycare.) Wtf? Stay away.

She doesn't care for the children and refuse to let teachers talk the parents about their children. Horrible environment and unclean aswell. Ms Francis picks favorites and will refuse to hear you out if you have any complaints. She doesn't do anything for bullying and will allow the behavior to continue. DHS has been called up here multiple times and Ms Francis never changes. She's a horrible director and an even worse teacher.

Worst school ever my kid was getting bully and I told the owner and she did nothing about it while…read moremy youngest who is around 1 would be dirty and have a poopy diaper whenever I picked him up enough that wasn't bad enough the teachers don't even like working there I heard some of them talking outside one time about how they don't even like the kids and they're just doing this for the money with that type of attitude they can hurt our kids and I don't like that so if you want your kid to actually go to a safe and good daycare don't use this one.
