My friend needed her cell phone repaired so we stopped into uBreakiFix which is located near her home. There were 3 customers in front of us and two employees working the counter. After a very short wait, Anthony told my friend he was ready for her. She has mobility issues and when he observed her struggling to get to the counter, he immediately said he'd come to her so he took a seat beside her to assist. I was very impressed with his kindness and patience as she explained the problems that she was having with the phone. We'd thought she needed the battery replaced but Anthony determined fairly quickly that there was a Verizon scanning app running in the background and that was draining the battery. We were on our way in under 15 minutes and he did not charge her anything for his time. I was quite impressed with his professionalism and knowledge but especially his kindness. I'm definitely heading to this shop when I need repairs to my phone! read more

Went to get my iPad screen fixed and they said it would be done that day, and that they would call me. Didn't hear anything about it until I called 3 days later and they said it had been ready. Get there and the screen popping off and they hand it to me anyway. Take it back and have them fix it again, come back 2 hours later and still not fixed. They tell me, "We are not going to be able to do anything about it, and that's the best we can do." This coming after I paid $450 to get it fixed. There solution was to deal with it. DO NOT use this place. I specifically went to the one on 915 Cantrell Little Rock, AR. Brought in bc my iPad wouldn't charge. Rep said it was likely a port (most common) problem. Left it with them. They asked if I wanted to get subscription. I listened to them but couldn't justify $25 a month. They said they ran hardware diagnostic. Issue was software.... supposedly, and said they would reload software for $99. Asked if I wanted subscription. I didn't. That was a lot, but since it was at 0% so I couldn't load it myself. Went to pick it up and it was $180! I asked them about why the price increased - couldn't tell me. They really wanted me to get subscription. Reminded me I can cancel it. No, I just wanted iPad fixed. Went home, and iPad was at 96%. Plugged it up. No charge. Brought it back to them and it would not charge on their charger by desk. Took it in "back" and said it must be the motherboard. How could it be running?! I reminded them that they did a hardware diagnostic previously. They said leave it with us and we can likely fix it for $160 if it's the port. I asked for my money back. Guy goes in the back. Comes back and he said my manager said no. That they did what they said they would. I couldn't believe what he said. I don't think the kid behind the desk could either. I knew he was uncomfortable. I asked to speak to manager but he wasn't there. Took it to Apple Store and cable was defective. Needed a new cable. It's clear this business just makes money by selling these subscriptions. I would give ZERO but that would be gracious. After waiting 15 minutes and being told there would be no warranty to which I agreed I was greeted with....they didn't call you? Nothing had been done to my phone and was told they would not work on it....this after the grueling 10 minute check in and the consultation with 2 other techs discussing how my phone was damaged. Fabulous service! My iPhone was not charging, not even with a brand new cable. I had tried everything, and nothing worked. I was told that the phone was old, probably needed a new one. Finally I looked up on Google and found a website which suggested that the charging port could simply be dirty. I called U Break I Fix, because I have used them twice before for cracked screens. They said sure, we can check it out and if the charging port is dirty, we will clean it for no charge. And they did exactly that, within 10 minutes of me bringing it in that afternoon. Now the old phone charges beautifully, even in my car, which had quit working months ago. WOW! Thank you for saving me the trouble and expense of buying a new phone when my old one just needed cleaning. I heartily recommend this repair shop!! read more

Proceeded to take back again to have it really "repaired" and it was I guess temporarily because it started having the screen problem again. Went there today before they closed to have to repaired and they said they couldn't and the person was a d***. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE COMPUTER ISSUES! Took Computer Repair Express in N. Little Rock 1 hour to FIX an issue I was having with my desktop that these guys couldn't DIAGNOSE in a week! The crew here is one of the most incompetent tech repair groups I've ever worked with, especially Cory. Bringing my desktop computer here ended up turning a minor issue into an absolute nightmare sh*tshow. This will be long but hoping it saves someone else the headache and $$$ so I'll explain... When I first started having issues, I called and was told to bring it down for them to check out. The guy I spoke to over the phone said they specialize in gaming computers and actually build them for fun. Sounds good. They were fairly busy when I brought it in. Sat down and, before it's my turn in line, Cory diagnoses me while he has another customer at checkout. Speaking over him at me he asks a series of questions and I explain. "Oh yeah, the mobo is fried, for sure. And we don't deal with those issues so sorry. Swap it out and you'll be okay. Just trying to save you time." Which, in retrospect, realize he was just trying to save himself time. A bit surprised at his response, I quickly asked a couple of clarifying questions from my seat, not really wanting to be rude to the customer currently being helped but no choice (since I was sent off and about to spend $130 on a new mobo). He confirmed. Cool, sounded confident enough to me and seemed like a trustworthy dude so I headed back home and ordered the part. The part arrives and I swap it out as I was advised and the computer is STILL having the same exact issue! I call them back and get Cory again. Explain and proceed to ask him some questions about what the issue could now be. Before we get too far he stops me, explaining that if he goes any further it would be like him doing his job for free (even though they do free diagnosis anyway!). He says bring it down, they'll have to diagnose in shop. I bring the desktop in and the first thing Cory says as I set it down on the desk is, "That's a CyberPowerPC, we don't work on those." My first thought was WTF, where is this coming from suddenly and aren't desktops all built with the same components? So, what's the difference? I'm far from an expert but I'd say if any it's negligible. Anyway, confused and a bit peeved, I push back a bit asking why. After a short exchange where he wrongly accuses me of purchasing it from Walmart, he ends up taking it anyway. All good he says, he'll checks me in then sends me off. The following week I get a text from Cory saying they couldn't diagnose the problem and the computer is BER. Now I'm really concerned. I call and ask what's going on and how my $1600 desktop is suddenly beyond economical repair and he suggests that the CASE is likely shorting the mobo. Either that or the whole thing is shot! First off, who has ever even heard of a case shorting a whole system? Second, in explaining the process behind how Hunter came to his BER conclusion he fumbles and sounds completely clueless. What happened to the alleged gaming PC experts? At this point it sounds like total BS. These clowns probably didn't even bother opening the thing. He even has the gall to suggest I go out and spend money on a part that I didn't need, AGAIN! Especially in these scary times, that is just adding insult to injury and completely unacceptable. Needless to say, I decided to take it to another repair shop for a second opinion. I called Computer Repair Express in N. Little Rock and told them what was up then brought it in. After talking it out with the 2 running the shop, apparently uBreakiFix is notorious for these issues. Their consistent misdiagnosis of computers has actually sent them a lot of business. And, thank God, because the difference between the two shops is like night and day and they deserve it! As I stated in the beginning, CRE fixed in 1 hour what the clowns at uBreakiFix couldn't fix in a week. It was a WIRING ISSUE! WOW! Clowns confirmed. They returned the phone with the same cracked screen saying they did not have the correct screen to replace. Although I was assured they did when I first dropped off the phone. I have mixed feeling about this place. The first time (a couple years ago), my wife's iPhone 5 screen broke. They replaced it and it seemed to be good. A few months later, I was trying to do voice dictation and it wouldn't work. I realized that the mic was out and my wife said it hadn't worked in a few months. When they replaced the screen, they didn't hook the mic up correctly. Of course, there was no way to prove this. A couple weeks ago, my wife dropped her iPad Mini and the screen shattered. I looked around and decided to give this place a second chance based on all the good reviews it was getting. My wife took it in for a screen replacement and they indicated that it would take a day. I will say when I first got my phone fixed my Bluetooth stopped working so I immediately went back to tell them and it was fixed two days after since they had to replace parts of my phone, but luckily they made things right. Does not stand by their product!!! I took my Samsung active there several months ago to have the screen replaced. Within 3 weeks the screen began to crack on it's own. It was never dropped or mishandled in any way. It started to crack at the top around the speaker. I took it back to them and showed them what had happened and explained that I had not dropped it. The manager basically called me a liar and refused to return my money. The best he offered was to give me a %20 discount on another screen replacement. I laughed and asked why I would want to pay another $175 to have another defective screen. I left with no refund and took my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same. read more

Found a way to run over my phone in the parking lot of a seafood shop while on vacation. Figured it was divine intervention *GET OFF THAT PHONE* Anyway, when I returned to Little Rock I thought for sure it was a lost cause. Thanks to these guys, that was not the case. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I entered a claim for a cracked screen on 10/28. My insurance company sent the claim to this store. I went to the store on 10/28 and after about 20 minutes they informed me that they didn't have the screen in stock, but it would be available on 10/30. I called on 10/30 and was informed that the screen had never been ordered. The associate told me that he witnessed his manager order it and that it would be in the next day. I called on 11/2 at 7:40 (20 minutes before the store closed) and Richard told me that the screen was there and that he would set it aside with my name on it. I presented to the store on 11/3 at 11:30 am. Richard went to the back and came back and told me that the screen set aside with my name on it had been used by another store associate to fix another customers phone. He gave a pitiful "I'm sorry" and never took responsibility for this. He called another location in NLR and they had the screen available. I had to call my insurance company and have the repair request changed to the other location. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL LOCATION! THEY LIE REPEATEDLY. An associate at the other location stated that they don't place orders per repair request like the associate erroneously said (LIED) on 10/30. read more
