Where to start..... If you want the short version, this is the most amazing preschool out there and…read moreANY CHILD would be lucky to get a spot there. I toured more than 10 preschools between Omaha and Phoenix and not one compares to Bluebird, including three other Montessori Preschools. We are on our second child at Bluebird, it simply has been life changing for our family and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Every staff member knows every student and they are all great individuals, not to mention it's the same group as when my son started. In other preschools we tried we've experienced high turnover, and since children thrive on consistency, it really interrupts the learning and experience they are they for. We have the option to have kept the kids home doing a home-school preschool but what Bluebird offers teaching the Social, Emotional, Intellect and Independence could absolutely not be matched. I believe THE WAY THEY TEACH and THE TEAM they have in place is what sets them apart, I can not say enough about the staff. The Director is phenomenal, the owner is there all of the time, maybe every day and the teachers and their assistants are just great at what they do. It's not too big and that's why it's like a little family, a family we are SO GRATEFUL TO BE A PART OF!!!

Parents Beware I've…read morebeen waiting to write this review as directed by Child Protective Services (CPS) for fear of interfering with their investigation. See this picture. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori. There were only 5 kids in the classroom with 2 teachers and they say they have no idea how it happened. Nobody saw or heard anything. This is not a simple bruise or small scratch. This is BIG. During their investigation CPS did find "a toy box with rough edges that *daughter* could have placed her hand in which could have produced those large scratches on her forearm (from her elbow to her wrist)." When you send your child to daycare you expect they'll be cared for. If they would have told us this happened that day we would have been understanding. But to avoid the blame and responsibility by claiming to know nothing is much worse. This shows neglect and it raises the question about what they're hiding. For example, the next day our daughter got a small scratch near her eye and they told us about it. Understandable. Later the same week (January 7, 2021) she had some red marks on her cheek from placing her face on the snow trying to eat it. They also told us about it and filled out an incident report. OK, but this raised another concern. How much was she putting her face in the snow? Were the caretakers watching? Why wasn't she redirected to do something else? January 7 was the last straw and our daughter's final day attending Blue Bird. If your child currently attends Blue Bird please ask yourself if you've seen any signs of neglect or unusual happenings. If you're considering sending your child here just know you may not get the care your child deserves or the full story from them. Look at the picture of my daughter's arm. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori and nobody claims to know how it happened. Is this incompetence, laziness or something else? Is this the care you want your child to receive?

To start off, I think the director is really nice and friendly. It's nice talking to her and how…read morepersonable she is. Always greeted when I came in. Actually, some of the staffs were friendly. And some of the staffs weren't as personable. Like my child's care taker. She did not really greet my child good morning or smile at my child. The facility did not seem well kept and the daycare just seemed so sad. As a parent I want to assure my kid is well taken care of. I just got here in NE and got a job so I was rushing to get a daycare. A lot of the daycares I called were full, so I settled with this one. My child always had stains on the face going home (someone could've atleast wipe it off). Always cried when I dropped my child off to this place. Where as in the new day care, my child would walk in the facility without crying. And at this daycare, when I would pick my child up, I would see the kids watching TV and the staffs are gathered up in the table while the kids were on the carpet watching Cocomelon. I would like the staff to atleast entertain them and spend time with children instead of staying on the table hanging out. Some workers here doesn't fix their hair and look untidy. I mean how can you expect them to take care of your child when they don't even fix their hair? My child was there for about 6 weeks and we started looking around at other daycares and I have found some at the same price as this one. Near this day care, too! I would recommend looking around and weight your options first. It's my ch cleaner in other daycares and the staffs looked presentable. AND they spend time with the kids ( & kids learn too). I feel so guilty sending my child here. I know day cares are expensive but trust me, you will find day cares that are the same price or cheaper with better care for your kid.

If I had to be completely honest I DO NOT recommend this childcare. It's not the worse I have seen…read morebut it's pretty close. I only worked here for a few months and it was a total mess. The owner is only there a couple hours during the day and now that her children don't necessarily attend anymore (school age) she seems to have "given up". Rumors circulated that she was going to try selling it to the director. I worked with the 2 year olds and we had a four year old in our room with disabilities. I was pregnant and complained about this four year old still being in my room and not getting the actual help he needed. I was kicked in the stomach multiple times and she (the owner) seemed not to care. There was not a set curriculum for us to follow and had to go throughout the day making our own schedule which was fine but wasn't enforced like it should have. We had an employee who would vape in the bathrooms and after a few months she was finally fired. The rooms are not "clean" and even the blinds were ripped apart and wasn't replaced. My boyfriends father drove the van to take the special ed students to school and never was there a teacher there prepared with the child for pickup like they were supposed to which caused delay. I was afraid of my baby going here for the infant teachers kissed the babies and from time to time got breast milk swapped. There's also another teacher who works here who had a romantic affair with one of the fathers and it started a divorce with those parents. All in all it's not a professional business and needs work!
