Since switching to Elite Academy, our son actually looks forward to going to school every day! His teachers Ms Jade and Ms Rose are amazing and engaged. He does so many educational activities and we get great updates all the time with photos and even long notes about what they did that day! I will be forever grateful to Elite Academy for giving our son the daycare experience we always wanted for him.

Not only is it a center I 100% trust, they continue to exceed my expectations each and every day. On top of the center being impeccably clean and extremely organized, it's obvious the teachers truly love what they do and love the children even more. There is never a doubt in my mind that my baby is safe, happy and receiving all the attention she needs--she completely lights up as soon as she walks into the building and is always so happy to see everyone. My family absolutely loves this place and all the amazing teachers that work here--and the many, many photos they send us of our baby throughout the week :) If you're looking for an amazing daycare, I promise; you will NOT be disappointed if you enroll your children at Elite!

I get that the state doesn't mandate more but come on maybe hire someone so it wasn't pure chaos. Oh and half of them their kids go there which I think is fine however the girl in my daughters room clearly didn't like children. You can tell who is there for money and discounted childcare. My child had marks on her body several times that was never reported. I was told they are too busy to document everything which is probably why I was surprised to learn my toddler had been "aggressive" which from what I was told pushing over toys or flailing when being picked up from throwing a tantrum which for a 3 year old can be common however they threatened suspension. And even though my husband and I asked daily if she had an "incident" and were told no she had a great day caused us to be concerned that they clearly have no idea what they are doing. We left a daycare we had been at for 3 years and had no issues there but wanted something in the district for preschool transportation. Beware of this daycare they are still working out kinks and I'm guessing paying back the bank and can't afford to staff this place properly and with people who like children.

I decided to go with this daycare center after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately my…read moreexperience with them was far from 5 stars. I am giving them a one star because the staff was always friendly and they did throw a great Halloween trick or treating party after hours. Now, this is why my son (2 years old) was only there for three weeks: * My son has allergies and every time my husband or I picked him up, his nose was covered in dried up snot. * On some mornings when my husband dropped him off, he would tell me how unprepared they appeared, sometimes still cleaning. * After a week of being with them, we received a pamphlet stating extra gym time/sports activities were only offered for an additional cost...What!? * Finally, my son suffered at least 8 bites (three on his last day) from another child. I was notified of approximately 4. The others, we found ourselves, an unpleasant discovery every time to say the least. - On one occasion I notified and showed the assistant Director the bite marks left on my son's wrists, I explained that I was given no report from the staff in the room (not my son's usual teacher), she promised to look into it and to email me...I never received an explanation nor email. - From his teacher- no solution plan was ever given to us, on how they would try to stop the biting. I would have expected some type of plan after the 2nd bite, especially if it was the same child. - From the Director- she too, offered no solution in order to prevent my son from being bitten again. In my opinion, this facility is not prepared to care for toddlers. From what my husband and I saw, they had no set curriculum or activities planned for the week, which I personally feel was a contributor to the biting, due to possible boredom. As a parent of a toddler, I do not recommend this place. My son is now somewhere else and "WOW" what a difference. In the end, my son's safety is the only thing that matters and this facility fell short.

I toured more than 10 preschools between Omaha and Phoenix and not one compares to Bluebird, including three other Montessori Preschools. We are on our second child at Bluebird, it simply has been life changing for our family and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Every staff member knows every student and they are all great individuals, not to mention it's the same group as when my son started. In other preschools we tried we've experienced high turnover, and since children thrive on consistency, it really interrupts the learning and experience they are they for. We have the option to have kept the kids home doing a home-school preschool but what Bluebird offers teaching the Social, Emotional, Intellect and Independence could absolutely not be matched. I believe THE WAY THEY TEACH and THE TEAM they have in place is what sets them apart, I can not say enough about the staff. The Director is phenomenal, the owner is there all of the time, maybe every day and the teachers and their assistants are just great at what they do. It's not too big and that's why it's like a little family, a family we are SO GRATEFUL TO BE A PART OF!!!

Parents Beware I've…read morebeen waiting to write this review as directed by Child Protective Services (CPS) for fear of interfering with their investigation. See this picture. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori. There were only 5 kids in the classroom with 2 teachers and they say they have no idea how it happened. Nobody saw or heard anything. This is not a simple bruise or small scratch. This is BIG. During their investigation CPS did find "a toy box with rough edges that *daughter* could have placed her hand in which could have produced those large scratches on her forearm (from her elbow to her wrist)." When you send your child to daycare you expect they'll be cared for. If they would have told us this happened that day we would have been understanding. But to avoid the blame and responsibility by claiming to know nothing is much worse. This shows neglect and it raises the question about what they're hiding. For example, the next day our daughter got a small scratch near her eye and they told us about it. Understandable. Later the same week (January 7, 2021) she had some red marks on her cheek from placing her face on the snow trying to eat it. They also told us about it and filled out an incident report. OK, but this raised another concern. How much was she putting her face in the snow? Were the caretakers watching? Why wasn't she redirected to do something else? January 7 was the last straw and our daughter's final day attending Blue Bird. If your child currently attends Blue Bird please ask yourself if you've seen any signs of neglect or unusual happenings. If you're considering sending your child here just know you may not get the care your child deserves or the full story from them. Look at the picture of my daughter's arm. This happened at Blue Bird Montessori and nobody claims to know how it happened. Is this incompetence, laziness or something else? Is this the care you want your child to receive?

After that, we were lucky enough to come across Montessori Academy of West Omaha. First and foremost, I have always felt as though each individual family is treated not only as family (as cliche as that sounds,) but the school understands each family's unique wants and needs. I am a teacher and wanted my kids home with me over the summer months, this is one of the only Montessori schools in Omaha that not only allows that, but encourages it because "what's best for your family is best for us!" even though that translates to a loss in tuition for the school. I have never once thought of Montessori Academy of West Omaha as a school that only sees my kids as a tuition bill, which I cannot say the same for the other school we attended. This school truly embodies the Montessori philosophy of "follow the child." Our daughter looks forward to school, her friends, and being challenged where she is at individually. The small class sizes at Montessori Academy of West Omaha allow for my daughter to receive direct, specialized instruction. We all know kids are not the same, not all kids are interested in the same things, this school has proven they can nurture each child in growing academically, socially, and emotionally. With my experience in Montessori for the past 10 years, trust me when I say, you will NOT be disappointed in sending your child(ren) to this one-of-a-kind preschool.

While CCP doesn't yet have a certified Montessori educator, they're working toward that end and they follow and practice Montessori's methods. My husband and I toured several local school, and we knew we found a real gem when we met Miss Ashley and Miss Krystal. Within a week, our son was verbalizing much more. The week prior to his first day at school, Miss Ashley gave us he opportunity to transition - so his first day wouldn't be traumatizing at all. What a blessing! On my son's first day, instead of being afraid, he was thrilled. Instead of tears, he was smiling. Instead of clinging to his father, he ran to meet his friends at the breakfast table. Thanks to the efforts of his teachers - even Miss Natalie - who is the primary class teacher - and Miss Courtnay - who is a regular on Fridays - my son is really developing into an independent and self-reliant individual. Also, for you parents who might be on the fence about brining your child or children here, the security, care, and precautions taken to keep our kiddos safe is so much more than I ever anticipated. Key-fob entry and requested identification for alternate adults when picking up our kids is absolutely appreciated by this mama!!! So, hop of the fence. Contact Miss Ashley, and let your little enjoy some time with mine.
