Might have been a good attorney 15 yrs ago but I have serious concerns about his mental capacity…read more He never came to see me but once before my case and he failed to prepare me for sentencing all he did was try to cram his AA program beliefs down my throat he yelled at my 70 year old mother told me I didn't want to go to rehab because I wanted to go home and use and all I was telling him was that I would go after I went home to be with my family because my family is close and my aunt was terminal he was also extremely offensive telling me I could not have God in my life without AA first and I would be back in 6 mos. He did nothing to help my case and then he told me he was not going to represent me because I did not agree to go to rehab so he could get his kick back he didn't even remember I told him I was pregnant at the beginning of my incarceration and when he came to see me the last time 3 weeks before I got out the first words out of his mouth were "I can get u 14 months on the lower end of this plea deal..." I was like umm I've already been sentenced and I get out in three weeks then he asked me when I "thought" I was getting out . 10 yrs ago I thought he was a good attorney but he's obviously getting older and his mind isn't as sharp plus he seems like all he cares for is money . It sucks because I really thought at first he was a good person who cared.

I never knew what the next step was and I always had to request for her to start something, she would never suggest what I needed to do. Isn't that what a lawyer should do? Guide you? Desperately needed and I she to hear often about child support, but she never began any type of child support conversations with the courts. She responded "we will get to that later". I had to eventually hire a different lawyer because we were getting nowhere and he was already a few thousand dollars in arrears. When I did change lawyers, the office wouldn't send my file, so my new lawyer's office had to send a runner (which I paid for). I can go on. She's not cheap, so I expected much better results. I was very disappointed to put it lightly.

He's got a lower hourly rate but don't let that fool you into thinking he's cheaper than a $400/hr attorney.

For these reasons, and many others, I do not recommend this attorney.
