I needed to get some property transferred out of my sister's name who had passed away suddenly in Arizona. Living in Louisiana I was a little skeptical about how to go about it from such a long way away. I spoke to Eileen who was extremely helpful in explaining the process and how to go about it. I experienced A LOT of problems with them. I wasn't going to leave a review, but my last conversation was VERy upsetting. 1st, they left out several parts I specified to be included in the divorce decree or custody arrangements. if they had done this once, I wouldn't;t have been upset, but it happened after a second email as well. 2nd they tried to charge me for their mistakes. 3rd the final paperwork, TO BE TURNED INTO THE COURTS had the wrong case number on all of the paperwork. My options were to get knew paperwork sent to me, that I could print off and get notarized... OR to white every document out myself. 4th when I pointed out that I paid over $800 for all these services, yet had to fix everything myself, the response was. Well, Sorry, thats all we can do. While it seems AZ Statewide Paralegal has no issue describing personal legal details while attempting to refute user reviews, I still stand that I am more knowledgeable regarding the details of their interactions with both my ex-husband and myself. I started my divorce paper with AZ Statewide Paralegal service which I will not recommend because they treat you in a condescending matter, they rush you and are unreasonably pricy. They charged me $280 to prepare the Quick Claim Deed (QCD) paper and they were not supportive to assist with the consent decree paper. They refunded the money after I complained, and they made my divorce more difficult than it should have been. Filing divorce was stressful and emotional enough that adding a stress from a paralegal service was not helpful. The manager of this place is unprofessional, ignorant, and childish as they come. I had a comment removed from here before because she was totally unprofessional about our buiness dealings and I was honest and explained everything that happened. But its all explained on the Better something-B Bureau site. 7 months later she's lying to them about what happened, no dates, no details, all lies. This is just like how it is doing business with her. I'd avoid this place at all costs. I've seen the other reviews. I know i'm not the only one. This lady doesn't know what she's doing. I wish there was a negative star review as this company doesn't even deserve one star. Warning, do not waste your money or time with this company! We hired Shannon Trezza to do a Revocable Family Trust. She informed us that she would not be able to give us legal advice which we were fine with. (I was, however, expecting to be able to have her answer questions about the document she prepared for us as in my mind this is different than asking for legal advice.) We met with her for about an hour and she had us answer basic questions and she collected the $811.00 fee up front. It seemed like she was just gathering information to fill into template. (In fact, the original document she emailed to us, had some of the previous person's data still left in the template.) The documents were emailed to us and quite a few them had a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo that made it hard to understand. (I was recently a co trustee on my mother's 70 page living trust and had no problems understanding that document.) I was surprised about how confusing the documents were. I called the number listed on the business card and Miranda answered the phone. I told her I had some questions about the documents that were prepared with the expectation that we could make an appointment with Shannon (who prepared the documents) to sit down and go over the questions we had. Miranda said they don't do that and that I could ask her simple questions and she repeated 10 times (in a 2 minute time frame) that they can't give me legal advice. (It seemed weird to me that she kept repeating it.) I didn't need legal advice, I just needed to have have them explain what the documents said. I had quite a few questions about the many of the documents that were prepared and speaking to a person over the phone that didn't even prepare the documents was really poor customer service. I persisted and finally spoke with Shannon by email. She also kept hounding that she couldn't give me legal advice. Again, I didn't want legal advice. I just wanted the person that prepared the documents to tell me what they actually meant. She stated that she could answer a very simple question but couldn't interpret the document for us. She wasn't willing to explain what they meant because according to her, that's giving us legal advice. I wasn't comfortable signing legal documents that I don't understand so we had to start all over and find someone else. We wasted $811.00 with this company and I would never recommend them to anyone else. Honestly, this company seems like they care about the money and not their customers. Shannon seems like she is trying to get the most amount from customers with the least amount of her time. My husband and I had some red flags going up the moment we met with Shannon. We should have listened to our gut instinct. Lesson learned for next time. We could have found the templates she used online and done it ourselves. We hired someone because we wanted to be able to have someone be able to answer questions we had. Again, we weren't asking her for advice on how we should handle our estate. It's a weird game they play on a play of words. The response to my review from AZ Paralegal is NOT TRUE. They never sent me any documents until two days ago and delayed me when this became contested by not informing me until 7 days after the response was filed and they only did because I called them to complain that they sent my wife an extension 5 days after they initial time frame expired and they only then checked with the court to discover my wife had filed the response. I had to pay the court for a copy of the 8 page response as AZ Paralegal still has not done it. There "reply" to my review is "Damage control" , so readers will think that they performed as agreed, but they didn't and refused any refund as their "guarantee" states. read more
