I caught the Flix Bus here to take me from Paris to London. It's a typical dirty bus stop with a…read morelot going on, and lots of confusion. As I'm from America, the signage was going to be in French, but I didn't much of any signage here, whatsoever. The bus stop also seemed to be in the middle of nowhere-- if you're coming here expecting to be able to get a quick bite, think again, all I saw was two vending machines.
Small, crowded, dirty, unsavory characters. Confusing and little signage or assistance. Be sure to…read moreexit the station on the street side, otherwise you are dumped into a big deserted park like square and have a several block walk to the street in search of a taxi. I made the trip from London this way just for the 'adventure' including the channel crossing. It's a long day, but worth doing once if you'd done the Chunnel train previously.

This is an especially good suggestion for people that do not speak the language. But today's ticket, we bought online months in advance. We were told that there was a savings buying early versus the same day, etc. Now that we have been in France for over two weeks, we are experienced and have figured out their bus, train, and metro systems. Well we hope, lol. Ambiance - It is a major public train station, so come early if you are not experienced. Crazy busy as expected. Pay to use toilets - 1 Euro. Several floors. Service - Self service in this station as again, we pre-bought our tickets months in advance. Price - 188 Euros to Lyon for two people. $220 USD. Owner Comment - Thanks for having affordable and smooth transportation with Inoui to Lyon.

In April, we traveled from Paris to Nice through this station. Our taxi driver dropped us off at the curb, and we had a short walk through the entrance doors to our gate in Train Hall 1. At the gate, we scanned our SNCF tickets and went down the platform to our train and assigned carriage (car). It couldn't have been easier.

This station is great. there's food, shopping, there's people everywhere it was just cool! And most importantly it's clean and there wasn't a lot of riffraff or anything that made me feel less than 100% safe and secure. WARNING: Do not use the bathrooms that are on the train platform, use the bathrooms inside the station the ones closest to the track are disgusting.
