You fly in, go through customs, get on the train, have a short trip, and you're at Disneyland Paris. But the reality is it's hard to find the train because there's no signage that lists TGV, just signs with a picture of a train, so we walked toward it hoping it was the correct area. The trains themselves also lack signage. So we got on a TGV train at the correct time, in the correct place, thinking it was our train. But we had tickets for a car that wasn't there, so in the end our first class tickets were useless and we sat next to the bathroom. There was no announcement in English so we used Google Maps to confirm we were in fact, in the correct spot, but for a bit we were worried we'd gotten on a random train and had no idea where we were going because there are 0 attendants in the cars to ask. In the train cars the aisles are small and tend to be cramped because a lot of people have luggage that blocks the walkways, so generally the navigating experience simply wasn't pleasant when compared to a bullet train like in Japan. All in all, we don't plan to go back to Disneyland Paris because the transit to the park was so difficult - I generally find Ubers easier (and in this case cheaper) to use - so overall I recommend hiring a private car to take you to and from Disneyland Paris and foregoing the TGV train.

There are signs easily pointing you in the right direction to where you need to go and there is a train station really close to the airport, which is a huge thing for me. There are plenty of food and drink options in the airport as well so you should be able to find something to grab while waiting for a flight. All in all, I've been to this airport a few times and its always a smooth transit.

This station was connected to the M1, RER C & E, and the T3b tram, as well as many bus stops. We were able to get around Paris from one of these lines mostly direct or with a transfer. An average wait would be 3-5 minutes. This station is also super clean. It has restrooms you can access with your transportation card. They even have refillable water stations. So convenient. A great stop to stay by to get around the city for travelers.

My nephew and I had planned a weekend trip to Luxembourg, and this station was the origination of the 2.5 hour high-speed trip, beginning early on a Saturday morning. We came from different places in Paris using Metro, and met up here. The walk from the Metro part of the station to the main central holding area takes a bit of time, with need to closely follow signs pointing to Gare de l'Est. About 24 minutes before the scheduled departure of our train, the platform number came up on the big board. At that point, we used the QR code from our purchased ticket to pass through the security gate of the platform. Then it was a long outdoor walk parallel to the train until one finds the correct car. We left right on-time. We came back to the same station from Luxembourg, and it was a simple matter of reversing direction back to the Metro side of the station to get back to our dorm/hotel.

A few days into the trip we used this station more. Flat walking to and from station. Less stairs. Escalator at the Marie exit. All important if you have already walked 10 miles for the day. Purchasing metro tickets are easy. I recommend trying to get them during non rush hour parts of the day. The kiosk is inside downstairs. Use the roller bar to use in English. I recommend the 10 pack. You get a discount and can use them on the metro, bus or tram. It was just under $20. Black line faces up, insert in the end and ticket pops up on top, grab it and pass thru the gate quickly. I downloaded the RATP app to help find lines and connections. Both buses and metros were easy to use.

The station is located in the center of the square with restaurants, bars and boutiques surrounding it. There are 3 kiosks inside 2 for purchasing new train passes and one for uploading fairs two current passes. Both times I came to this station one of the kiosks wasn't working properly. There are detailed maps of the train routes that are numbered and color-coded making it easy for a first timer to navigate and find where they're going. Since I was going to the Eiffel Tower it was very simple for me to determine which direction I was going in without getting lost (although everything is written in French). A single way was about 2 euros.

Well, this airport has two different experiences. The first one is when you arrive and head to the…read morebaggage area. After you deplane you have to weave around and get to immigration where there are line 8 different lines but all people coming from different flights crowd around the same spot making it time consuming and frustrating to get to your right line. Then after a long wait from 30~60 minutes you then head down to get your luggage. Then figure your way out to the train or exit. This process took about 2 hours. Flying back I thought it was going to be something similar and after reading several reviews, it made it sound faster. We stayed close to T1 then boarded the tram to T2 E 2 1/2 hrs prior to boarding and once we found the entrance to immigration it took us about 20 minutes to get through then boarded the train to terminal M and then go through security and it was faster. Took us about 10 minutes and then we had plenty of time to stop by at the duty free where there are many options for lotions or perfumes and decent prices. We got to our gate probably 90 minutes prior to boarding. Now our flight departed on a Monday at 11am, so probably we beat the rush hour, but I have to say that it went smoothly compared to our arrival experience. If they had a way to improve the international arrival process, it would be 5 star experience. Enjoyed Paris and now heading back. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to come back and experience an improved arrival process. Bon Jour!

There's kiosks to buy metro/train tickets or from a person at the window. Once you take the long stairs down to the tracks, there's a cafe selling sandwiches, magazines, etc. There's a screen near the track to tell you when the next trains are arriving--a nice touch!
