    Bait and Switch Fraud. DirectTV Collections department particularly Juan Employee Jose/Juan Ref#…read morePPN7V54 are downright thieves. I was offered via email a 70% of past balance to restore at no charge right when I was negotiating cancellation as a 14 year customer, 3 states, installation on four residences (dish/hardware) I immediately called in to take advantage and work things out with Direct TV to continue our long term relationship, paid the amount of balance due to bring balance to 0 per the promotional terms, have an emailed receipt (the email immediately following the deal email in my inbox) Happy call, service will be restored, differences settled right? WRONG. They never implemented deal, wouldn't refund my payment to get deal which was substantial income for my family, indicated cancellation status being negotiated DQed me from deal despite being emailed the deal AFTER negotiating cancellation, AFTER rep on phone still offered and indicated he implemented deal when he took my payment (same day). Determined, Collections Dept. is same Dept that promoted and emailed the deal who took deal away so after four hours on 8 different I8Something numbers I was actually insulted by their collections supervisor referenced above telling me we got you, you should pay your bills!!! I plan to take that call I recorded and the fradulent bait email to the KS Attorney General to look into Direct TV tactics as illegal by violating an in writing (email) and verbal (rep I paid to implement email deal) agreement, and turning it into a vicious, and dishonest "promotion" to simply collect 30-50% balances before cancelation offering false hope of reconciliation of a 14 year, 3 state, install AT+T and DIRECT TV equipment onto homes to be "move in ready" for future customers and told him to screw off and pay my bills.     Direct TV is a terrible company. They almost doubled my bill in 1 month. When I called in to try…read moreand get them to lower the bill. Nope they wouldn't. So I switched to another carrier. Called them next day and to cancel and They ballistic and got mad that after 17 years I was leaving. They demanded I return their equipment to UPS store within a week. Now they want me to pay the entire Months bill when I only used 4 days of the higher billed month. They are a terrible company to to use for TV service. I'm going spend free time posting our bad experiences.
