    Why do I pay for spectrum wifi if it won't work. I'm constantly having problems where it is out for days.

    I would like to give a great "Thanks" to Carole at this AT&T site. We have been to this location…read moreseveral times over the years - setting up overseas service for trips to London and Paris for example - but we have never received better service than we did from Carole. Sometime about last Wednesday, my wife's iPhone 13 suddenly stopped showing any e-mails or allowing her to access them. She tried finding help online with AT@T and by phone with absolutely no help. Desperate, we drove into the AT&T location on the north side of Petoskey from up by Cross Village. Carole met my wife, introduced herself, asked questions about the difficulties she was having, and, within 15 minutes had identified the problem, found the missing e-mails, and totally resolved the issue. i want to give Carole a really big Thumbs-Up. Whenever we need assistance with either of our phones in the future, we will ALWAYS seek out Carole for assistance!

    After seeing AT&T response I did call the store and asked for the Manager. That was 2/27. The…read moremanager was not available but they assured me they were working on getting the account corrected and that the manager would be calling me. It s 3/10 and I have not received a call. The check to pay off the phones has cleared. I have not received an updated bill. I have received nothing other than email offers to purchase added AT&T products like tv etc. That isn't going to happen. I am cutting losses and moving on from At&t. I will not be posting any further on this matter. Ed D

    I needed to change some account information and swap out some equipment. I read online that you can…read moreswap out older equipment at their physical locations. My Internet has been acting up at home for awhile. It might be a spyware/adware issue, but I figured changing out the equipment might be a place to start. I visited their location in town 2x in two days. The check in kiosk at the door is easy to use and fairly obvious (not to everyone though, I didn't realize it on my first visit and on my second visit I cut in front of someone via checking in, someone who had been there before but hadn't checked-in via the kiosk. Am I the a**hole?, yes, yes I am. Staff were helpful and efficient. Getting everything plugged in and connected once I got home. I just reversed what I had unplugged when I swapped out the old stuff. I still had to call for help, but I didn't have to spend $65 to have a technician come to the house, so that's a win. Pardon my essay.

    I can't believe what I did by accident yesterday! I pulled out an old laptop because I had so many…read morewindows open working online. I couldn't figure out why the fan kept coming on and the machine was lagging, but it's an old system, so I figured it was on its last legs. No - after about 5 hours, I noticed an icon moving in the top bar. For some reason, my Dropbox account decided to start to sync all of my files in the account. It used up 80GB of our ATT Wireless Internet - and we were only 3 days into the new month!!!! Of course, I've been on the line with ATT and went in to the store asking for some help. Yes, it was my mistake - nobody is questioning that. But, seeing as how we have 5 iPhones, Wireless Internet, and Direct TV - paying nearly $8000 per year for ATT services - I thought maybe they'd be able to help me out so we don't run out of data and end up paying an exorbitant $25 for each extra 10GB. But, no - after a very long time trying, of course they can't/won't help! What a lousy way to treat a longstanding customer! Things did not used to work like that back when business was more personal. That said, I did send them a note ensuring them that in the near future they will be losing me as a client for all of their services over a lousy little 80GB mistake (which costs them nothing.) Maybe Verizon? What a great place this modern world is!
