I would steer clear of this guy and anyone affiliated with him. So here is the deal. If you have a brand new vehicle luxury model maybe bring it somewhere else. But if you are like me and have a car with several hundred thousand miles on it and needs a paint job then Chas is your guy. My original estimate for repairs to a door from a big box body shop was over $5000. Chaz not a only fixed the door and painted it but he painted my entire car for 1/5 of the cost. It's been a year and a half now and the paint looks beautiful. No it is not perfect but my car looks great still. Painted my hood. The results were fisheyes, lack of clear coat in some areas, and contamination in the finish. Totally screwed me

My neighbor took his vehicle to Chas Collision and was told by Chas that he would have it painted in 2 (TWO) weeks. The vehicle was not wrecked or damaged...just a paint job, a new windshield, and a sprayed-in bed liner. It took more that 6 months to get his truck back, and in those 6 months he was promised numerous times by Chas that his vehicle would be finished at the end of that week. I drove my neighbor there personally and witnessed 4 of those promises. After more than 6 months, he got the truck back, only after the Fairhope police were asked to assist by going and talking with Chas. Even then, Chas threatened to sue my neighbor if he gave him bad publicity. When my neighbor finally got his truck back, it was missing step rails, some trim, a lens for a headlight lamp, and holes in the middle of the sprayed in bedliner. When my neighbor asked for a warranty on the work, Chas said he would email it to him. He has not done so yet, and my neighbor continues to find things that were reinstalled incorrectly. Great service did an excellent job on my car. Brought my car in with a dent on my rear driver side of my car. Scuffs and hail damage on the hood, roof , and trunk of my car. Had a dent in my infiniti G37 bumper from low impact backing into another bumper. Large collision shop wanted "minimum" $2200 to replace parts - might be more expensive when they get the parts off to assess the actual damage. Chas repaired the bumper for $650 and it looks great. Charles has had my truck in his shop since January 2022. I had an appraisal done in October 2021 and he said he could "save" my truck. He was paid in advance by Farmers Ins. For $6,662.00 which included my 1500.00 co-pay. He keeps stalling saying it's a "big truck" or it has been raining. I do not trust anything he says. Beware!!!!! read more

Does NOT recommend CHAS COLLISION . We were told it would be 3 to 4 days needless to say it was almost a month. (Dropped off 10/18 & picks up 11/12) he finally got our golf cart done two days prior to us picking it up after telling him we would be there whether it was finished or not. (Wrong color , it's supposed to be blue!) he said some very nasty and rude and very unprofessional words. We physically went to the location five times and have called him nine different times each time he told us it would be done on a certain day and certain time so we either stopped back by or called once again another excuse and promised it would be done in the next day or so. Needless to say it was not done.we ask to be put on charge on after a month even with us providing it and asking him to please make sure it was charged so I did not have to push it home. It left us stranded long side the road. ( thank you to the two guys that towed ithome for me) he was Very unprofessional, if he just would've told us the correct time we would've brought it back to him instead of letting him hold it for almost a month when we could've been using it. I can only speak about my experience with this business. I was very disappointed and will never bring a vehicle here again. I wanted some minor bodywork done to my pristine late model Ford F150. The owner, Chas, was very eager to fix it and gave me a good price. He said leave it with him and he and a friend would work on it that night. So I did. Two days later he called to say it was ready and I went to pick it up. He was still cleaning it up when I arrived. I waited about 30 minutes, paid and left. It was fairly dark by that time and the repaired quarter panel looked OK. But the next day when I looked at it in the daylight I noticed it had a definite ripple in the sheet mental where the repair was made. When I took it back to him and pointed it out, he said, "Oh, I was afraid of that." He said to bring it back the next week on Monday and he would fix it. He thanked me for the opportunity to fix his mistake. He led me to believe he would fix it in one or two days. I dropped it off early Monday. By Wednesday I had not heard from him and he would not return my calls. After going by the shop twice it was finally ready late Friday afternoon. When he brought it out he sheepishly pointed out that there were paint drips on the fender. He said he was sorry but if I brought it back he would fix it. I brought it back a few days later and waited while he sanded down the drips. He came out an hour or so later with my truck and showed me where his sander had slipped and he had gouged out a small place in the paint. The drips were not totally gone, either. He said to bring it back for a fourth try. At this point I decided to cut my losses and not return. I will get some touch up paint and cover the gouge until I can get a professional to fix it. The original price was good, but I am sorry I ever took my truck here. Don't make the same mistake. read more
