Chappell Hill Bank Terri Blockuhvich, assistant bank manager of loans, doesn't honor their word or…read morethe promises with loans. Ms. Blockuhvich knew that my accounts were in good standing with good credit, so naturally, I asked for a lower rate from 7 1/2 to 4 percent; she agreed after speaking to her 'board'! After eleven months of saying yes, but I have been so busy, or out of town, etc., the closing date for the new lower rate never happened. So I paid off my loan and gave her the option to reimburse me the eleven months that she promised at the lower rate of 3 1/2 percent or risk me moving all of my money and accounts out of Chappell Hill Bank. She excused herself to go and talk to her 'BOARD' and came back and said, we won't honor our word and will not pay you the 11,000 dollars. I told her my business was over here, and within two business, days I moved the bulk of my funds out. If you can't trust your banker at their word, then you can trust them at all--end of the story. He didn't try any games or speak negatively about his competition, and maintained the decorum of a true professional.
