So I'm sitting there for about an hour waiting for the next available customer service one guy gets up and leaves after his appointment with someone and says he won't be back for another hour then a lady comes out of the back and invites the people who just said down to do with them before me. I went in asking the most simplest task... 4 ladies standing around and 4 gentlemen in the "offices" (full staff) told me id have to wait at least an hour to talk to anybody, I left and went to Chase in the supermarket across the street. The teller helped me within 2 seconds. I would leave no star if i could read more

I wish there was a negative star rating that I could choose for this location. There's this guy the works there (or used to work there, don't know if he's still there cause I haven't been to this location in years cause of him). I stopped going here cause this guy was so rude. He didn't want to do anything or help me with what I needed to get done. This guy should have been jumping with what I needed done with how much $ I have with chase, not only for me but for anybody who does business with chase cause we can take our money and business to another bank. I wish I can remember this dirtbags name so I can let people know NOT to do business with that scumbag (if he hasn't been fired by chase with how unfriendly, rude and how he can't do this or that for people when they're bringing their money and business to chase). Also during when c19 was first going, everybody that worked there was forced to wear a "mask" (they even had multiple signs up on the front door that said "masks MANDATORY") but this guy wasn't wearing one like he was above it and all the other employees. The last time I was in this place was just the straw that broke the camels back and why I WILL NEVER give this place even another look let alone business (I went in to get a document notarized, and the dirtbag was there, doing absolutely nothing, and he literally said to me "I don't have time for that, go across the street to UPS", when all it takes is 30 seconds to do, if that.) Also with seeing how all the other ratings for this place are all negative, I don't see how chase hasn't shut this location down all together especially with how this guy is running business, customers and their money out and basically telling them in the process to go some place else to do their business. This is the first review that I wish that I could give zero stars. What a terrible terrible branch. I thought Danbury was bad, this place takes the cake. They are rude, not knowledgeable and extremely selective with what they decide to do for you. On a good day they may cash a check for you but if someone happens to be PMSing they will deny this option even if you have enough funds in the account. I have literally been told that they cannot cash a check for me because it has something to do with the bank that the check is from, gone to another bank (same company (Chase))and they cash it no problem with a smile on their face. I went in to wire money once and they told me they couldn't do it today because "the guy that can do it wasn't in." Awful service, such a damn shame that I have to drive 25 minutes away to another Chase for decent customer service, even worse that they are not being addressed for these matters. Looks like I'm not the first person that feels this way. I mean, it's my money that they're dealing with. Shame. read more

This place is the worst chase branch ever. Coming from the best branch in Somers, I started using this one. The customer service is nonexistent and the branch manager takes out his failures In Life out on the customers. If you don't believe me, just ask him to notarize something for you! I would say chase should close this branch but I'm scared they will be transferred and ruin other branches! read more

After years of average, lukewarm customer service at another bank I switched to Chase bank at this location. At first things started out well. Almost everyone on staff initially impressed me because they seemed extremely efficient while always keeping a personal touch for me to feel truly welcome. I can change dollars to euros here and there are numerous other services like investment planning. Although I have not personally used their investment planning program they are knowledgeable and always very friendly! However, I recently started to notice some things that weren't very professional. The branch manager has the power (and they use it, too) to systematically under-staff the branch by eliminating all tellers except for the bare minimum of one teller at many different times. Bank management is even so cheap that they didn't even have air freshener in the bathroom and there was a recent incident when one employee was almost very, very unfairly punished for simply letting me use the restroom when it was going to be in the restroom or on the floor of the bank! (I'm not as young as I used to be.) I now know that things are OK if you don't ask for much but when the manager draws up that schedule (with her supervisor's approval, of course), watch out for more lukewarm customer service and nasty situations in which employees are unfairly asked to do way too much at one time. I may switch banks now that I know the manager better. Familiarity breeds contempt! read more

It is difficult to come up with the correct adjectives for this branch; rude, unhelpful, disinterested, unwilling, useless, worthless, all come to mind. I tried to obtain a safety deposit box there, but they were too busy doing nothing. As usual, the Chase Private Banking guy blew me off (I am a private banking client). I was told no one would help me without an appointment. If it is a straight, teller transaction, then you can get that done, although you might have to put up with eye rolls, and rude tellers; anything else, you are better off driving somewhere else. read more

I wish I could give a ZERO rating for Chase at Clock Tower Commons, which has got to be the worst bank on earth. My husband and I went in yesterday to open a wealth management account with a VERY large amount of $$. Immediately upon entering a teller began literally shouting--very ridely--across the who bank "can I help you?" Other people were coming and going, but only we-- interracial seniors--were singled out to be shouted at. We approached a man who looked like a manager, but he just told us to wait--but there were not seats, so we went over to the OBNOXIOUSLY RUDE TELLER and told her we were dealing with a large sum but she insisted th hst she would deal with us. We asked to speak with a wealth manager, who was just sitting alone. He was not with a customer. OBNOXIOUS RUDE TELLER said have to make an appt and come back later. I called to speak with the manager, but he wouldn't come to the phone!! We have a small chkg acct at Chase, which we will leav0e there. but we decided to do our three wealth management/investment accounts at Citibank where we were treated with respect. This Chase branch is the bottom of the barrel, and Ms OBNOXIOUS TELLER is the rudest, most obnoxious person in a service position I have encountered in all of my 70+ years. read more
