Cole was quite happy to hear me, and assured me that the matter would be resolved. At first, I was anxious and annoyed, but quickly became calmer. I came to this branch to open a business account, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. My first visit involved waiting in a long line for over 20 minutes, only to be told I needed an appointment. I scheduled one for the following week. The morning of my appointment, I had an unexpected delay at the dealership, so I rescheduled online for Friday. Shortly after, the employee I was supposed to meet with called and kindly offered me a same day appointment later that afternoon. I arrived at the branch at 4:05 PM, was the first person in line, and noticed only one service window was open. I waited until 4:20 PM before another employee opened a second window. When I explained I had a 4 PM appointment, I was told they could no longer honor it because it was after 4:05. This was my second trip to the branch for the same purpose, and both times I left without getting any help. My time is valuable, and it's frustrating to experience such a lack of organization and consideration. I hope management takes this feedback seriously no customer should have to go through multiple visits and long wait times just to open a business account. read more

I was ignored. Not helpful. Please tell walk ins as soon as possible that they need to make an appointment. If this bank doesn't accept it . That is poor business. I came in as a walk in client knowing that the wait would be long because I didn't have an appointment however I waited over an hour but there were two bankers with no clients one was on the phone. I saw her when she took her male customer but once she was done with him she didn't even try to get me next. I waited and waited but she still did not try to approach me. And the other one I don't know what she was doing all the other bankers had someone. I felt ignored. I was thinking about keeping an account at chase but now I won't. Let me start by saying that I truly miss the Centinela location--they always provided excellent service. Unfortunately, today at the Century location I had the first genuinely negative experience I've ever had with a teller. I should have known things weren't going to go well when the teller made me wait while she applied lip gloss. I came in to get a cashier's check, something I've done at Chase every month for years. This was the first time a teller asked me how I wanted my cash. Why would I need cash when I had clearly written the payee's name in the box that indicates the transaction is for a cashier's check? When I pointed this out, she said she "didn't see it." My handwriting is big and clear for a reason--there's no reason a customer should have to explain what's already written in the correct box. I hoped transitioning to this new branch would be smooth, but today proved otherwise. Your teller, Tyler Wheeler, may need additional training, because I don't feel comfortable with someone who doesn't understand the withdrawal slip--especially the clearly marked cashier's check section--handling my banking transactions. read more

Staff here is super nice and helpful.... But they NEVER have enough tellers at the window. The line is ALWAYS more than 6-10 people long. It's super frustrating when they have tellers "greeting" people and standing at the front but not behind the counter. I don't need a hello, I don't need to announce to the room why I'm here or what I'm doing at the bank. I need a private, teller experience. It's so unprofessional as they come through the line asking those questions. No, I don't want to announce to the room what I'm here to do. The majority of their customers here are super extra; never have their debit cards, need help using the atm etc. corporate needs to give a bigger labor budget to accommodate. It takes 45 minutes to wait in line and make a deposit here. EVERY TIME! Super frustrating. read more

Waited on a banker for 50 minutes. When I asked what was taking so long they told me they had just went to break. It's 2pm, there's a waiting area full of people, and you send two bankers on break. That's terrible logistics. There was no communication and the customer service is terrible! I would never come and bank at this location again! read more

The people who work there may be polite but they don't give a f$##@ about making you wait. The line to see a teller was long but the real problem is the hours you spend waiting to see a banker. We were one of the many waiting patiently and watching the bankers who REPEATEDLY took other walk-in customers ahead of us, answering their questions, bringing them stuff, looking at their accounts on their phone, spending 20+ mins (I was timing it) which was so nice for those guys, but not for those of us who signed in and waited like idiots. Clearly, it's better to just walk in and keep talking to the nearest banker until they give you what you want. Because once you sign in, you are out of sight and out of mind until they finish being Mr. Wonderful to all the walk-ins who knew better. Then, after they have gone back and forth, walking past us to help so many people who just walked in AFTER us, they stroll over and check the list and say thanks for your patience. Yeah right... Credit Unions are better! Chase does not deserve our patronage. SchoolsFirst is across the street and California Credit Union is a few doors down. I'm a retired teacher and have accounts in both. These credit unions have never treated me they way Chase treated my family today. I do not recommend Chase, especially the Inglewood Branch on Century. read more

Beware of the drive-thru ATM! I attempted to deposit $500.00-(4$100 bills, 5-$20 bills) the ATM stated I deposited $360!! There is a button to cancel transaction which I did and took my money elsewhere to a whole different area. Be aware!! read more

Meh. While Chase Bank is better than a lot of banks, this particular location needs some work. Sooo busy and long lines. Also no bathroom for customers. I went into this Chase yesterday to open a basic checking account. I arrived at 5:20pm. There were about 5 people sitting around waiting for a banker. After standing their for 5 minutes, a guy ask what I'm there for. I told him to open a new account. He then says let me check to see if we're still opening accounts. He goes over to a group of 5 bankers, who were just standing around chatting, to ask if they are still opening accounts. They all told him no and that I can make an appointment. The time it took to stand there and wait for someone to acknowledge us, then ask 5 people who weren't doing anything and come back to tell me no, they could have had the account open by then. The guy tried to give me a number to call and make an appointment. I told him no and walked out. I'm not doing business anywhere customer service is that terrible. read more

One star for this branch. First attempt into seeing a teller was told to book an apt. Called no answer. Second time around came on a Monday spoke to the girl outside said I needed to make an appointment. I told her I had already tried that had no luck that's why I came back. Best chase in the area! Drive thru so you don't have to get your kids out of the cars! 30% of the time the drive thru's don't work! And if they do they can read your cash deposit. That's when you have to get off and go inside 8 windows and 2-4 tellers working with a 20 ppl line. But overall we love this place read more

I have been coming to this bank for like the last 3 years or so. Lately the last few times i have been here customer service has been really bad. Before i used to get help from Either Ruben, Chris or Erick and they were all of great help but the people working here now i could tell are a bit lazy. They have representative like Rocio who can't even lie about their horrible customer service properly. This place is awful. They need a Mangement over haul of competent associates. I've said this before, for the nearest branch, and I'll say it again, "This locations helps me realize the economical violence in American low income neighborhoods. This bank is overwhelmingly understaffed and this branch isn't kept to the high standards of branches in the west side.". I believe this is the only chase branch in Inglewood. This branch is terrible. I have a business account with them that I am about to close. I have had so many issues with trying to add a signer to our account. They have a representative there named Catiyah who told us different information every time we called. I asked to speak to a manager and she disconnected me and didn't answer the phone when I kept trying to call back. Next I spoke to some guy named Errol who was supposed to be a manager but had no answers for my basic questions like "What is required to add a signer to the account." He promised to get info and call back last week and did nothing. Something as basic as adding a person to our account has been a complete nightmare. read more

I walked into the bank to use ATM. The gentleman who was using ATM in front of me said the machine just went completely black while he was doing his transaction. I noticed the customer service representative had a booth right in the front by the ATM. So I told the gentleman the ATM went black while the gentleman was doing his transaction.. He said, they have beeb having system problems. He said, if you go It will post the same day if your making a deposit. So I went in and the system was down as well. This is the only chase bank I will go to as a last resort. Every time I walk to the door it smells like a really bad body odor. It's like the air-conditioner never works. Standing in line feeling like I am at a gym sauna. As for the customer service its so so, most the time I'm trying to get in and out before the stench sets in. It also bothers me that on a Friday they only have like two tellers, and 50 people standing in line waiting their turn. They need to either hire some more people, or speed up the transactions. Because some people rather sit outside in the fresh air, then stand in line at a funky bank. read more
