The perfect balance of a community bank and online bank but with a national branch presence. They…read moredon't having pending incoming transactions, which means payroll, like most everything else with this back happens in near-real-time. Outgoing transactions however you can see the day the merchant requests funds but you actually have until 9 whatever day that happens to be to transfer funds or reload your debit card from almost anywhere to avoid affecting your account in any negative way. Between real time alerts and full mobile app debit card management, I feel they have at least 2X the mobile convenience and financial protections as almost any other bank.

I…read moreneeded a car loan a few years ago, went to them bc they are "my" credit union (yeah right) and they wouldn't talk to me, handed me a form, & said they'd get back to me. I went to the community bank down the street and had the car and loan before being rejected at DPFCU via a letter in the mail, no call. Yesterday, I needed a debit card, which they can make onsite. They refused, saying I needed to wait 10 days on an ordered one bc other members needs come before mine. This place does not value relationships. You are a number and as soon as you need them, they are not there. Do yourself a favor and bank at First Federal, where they are good at what they do, kind, secure, and caring.

I'm a cosigner for an auto loan at this bank. They will not contact you if the loan payment isn't…read moremade & would rather let late fees and interest accrue. Once I was made aware the payment was late, I called & despite being on the loan several people refused to discuss it with me. I asked if I could pay online & was told to create an account. After I created an account, I was told I cannot pay online, or over the phone & that I must mail a check or go in person (further delaying the payment). I mailed payment in full for the loan amount (since nobody would give me a payoff) & then called to discuss the remaining balance which were the fees that accrued while I was oblivious. After telling them I'd mail a check, they went ahead and reported it to my credit. The guy in collections claimed he spoke with the primary on the account which is impossible because her phone is off & stated a supervisor would contact me - that hasn't happened. The 2 months of fees and interest is $209 & they'd rather avoid resolving the issue to power trip and punish borrowers. I'll be sending this bank an invoice for my inconvenience fee equal to $209.
