I was in town visiting from Los Angeles and had the best experience at this location. Long story short, I had to switch bank cards but the teller at my regular branch made a mistake when linking my accounts, so my funds were inaccessible for this trip. I went into this location asking for help and Joe (Joseph, manager) handled everything within 15 mins or less. Asked my partner and I about our day, shared some recommendations on where to visit while fixing my problems. This is for CHASE CORPORATE: I have 4 accounts with Chase. My issue is they took away the text alerts if there's a charge on your credit card. That alert has saved me 4 times. This shows they don't care about their customers in this "data credit card stealing era." Because of that I have decided to close my 4 accounts, that I have had since 2003. Good bye Chase. Whoever was the brain behind that stupid idea needs to find another career. That was the most STUPID idea EVER!! People DEPEND on those "instant" alerts and most are not going to check their statements EVERY DAY to watch for fraudulent activity. Just because your new idea is to contact the customer if an YOU feel a charge was fraudulent doesn't settle well with us. A hacker can spend $50 at Walmart and that WOULD NOT cause an alert on YOUR end so how about doing the right thing and bring back the text alerts as they were for the last decade!! young woman who stand by the entrance is very cold. There was an old woman customer only spoke in Chinese. I asked her to translate. A worker said "No, if it's unrelated to Chase." So cold. I've never had such a bad experience. What if an old woman standing, perhaps she'd help. Another young man was looking while at the ATM, he asked me "what are you looking for...?" JPM / Chase is for suckers. * Their brokers rarely pick up the phone and there is often zero back up - completely unprofessional. Unheard of on Wall Street. * The investment help line simply refers you back to your broker that doesn't pick up the phone. Nothing get done. * Securities mature with. no notice and money sits in CASH earning ZERO interest instead of a money market like Schwab or others.. * Commissions for Money Mgmt are a rip off. * Brokers come and go to other firms all the time - no notice. I had a broker die and they switched coverage without even giving me notice. * The self-directed trending platform is a FAILURE - so few T-bonds offered - mostly off the run garbage. If you call to trade an on-the-run you have to give them the CUSIP - they can not look it up. * To buy a security you first have to dump Money Market into cash - lose of day of interest and let them rip you off before investing the next day. * Chase is for suckers and naive investors - they prey off the uninformed. Some family members tried to open a checking account at a mutually convenient location. They walked into a Chase branch in midtown Manhattan and told they couldn't be helped without an appointment as there were not enough bankers. They were given the locations of 2 other branches but told the bank couldn't call to determine which branch could accommodate them. The next branch was larger but still couldn't accommodate walk ins. And also wouldn't call another branch. The last branch was the largest and finally offered an appointment but later in the day. My family members finally walked into a different bank (the one that advertises happy, dancing bankers) and were immediately accommodated and helped accomplish what was needed. Chase clearly has no interest in providing service. I will certainly not entertain giving them any of my business in the future. read more

The Staff are saints. I don't bank with Chase but my mom does. They were really courteous to everyone who walked inside. They are saints in my opinion. So many customers i saw here barely know how to use a debit card or English. They helped customers fill out deposit and withdraw slips. I would never be able to work here without losing my mind. read more

Forget about banking with Chase. Their customer service has gone down the toilet. I had Budget rental overcharge me and breech of contract. I filed a dispute and got a system generated determination that sided with merchant. I had to appeal and still haven't gotten help I needed. That was 2 months ago. I closed my account. I have two accounts at Chase Bank on Broadway at 144th Street. When I asked about renting a safe deposit box, I was told that none were available and there was no list I could add my name to. In other words, drop dead. So, how are boxes handed out when they become vacant. To friends? Family? Or those who offer the largest bribes. read more

The service is quick. The staff are friendly enough... but the thing that really bothers me about this branch is the structural interior design. You enter the bank. You fill out your little deposit slip and you stand in line. Along the teller windows are two MASSIVE Colums that are about 2.5 feet wide and make seeing anything to the right of you virtually impossible. If someone is being serviced at the window by the column, they have to physically move away from the window to let you pass. Its a nightmare. Yesterday while waiting in line a teller had to walk all the way over to where i was standing so I could see her say NEXT... These columns suck bro. read more

Great branch that is open on SUNDAY!! Was worried that no branch is in operation on Sunday but glad to find this branch in the accessible Chinatown area to manage my account on Sunday while being able to check out some dim sum places and cheap barber's place on a casual Sunday. The branch is for both retail and private clients. The staff is very friendly, professional and explains things really clearly (especially Fiona Qu, who helped me). There is almost no line there on Sunday. It opens at 10AM and closes at 3PM so you get plenty of time. read more

wow. wow. so my brother passed away and me and my mom bring in his death certificate. they make copies and tell us his acct is now frozen and no money can be deposited or withdrawn from the acct. that is not helpful to us at all. i had his atm card, i could have easily just withdrawn money that belongs to the next of kin and not notified the bank of the death. dumb dumb dumb. second time, my mom asks me to deposit money into her account. i bring cash. teller says she cannot accept the cash without the card or the acct owner's id. are you serious? every other bank doesn't have an issue ACCEPTING cash if you have the name and account number. she then tells me i can write a check. who carries checks around??? then she says or get a cashier's check. what makes a cashier's check so different from cash? you are just making it difficult for everyone. why such a big deal? withdrawing money, i understand. but depositing money? ridiculous. remind me never to sign up with chase. bye, felicia! read more

I really like this bank. The people there are friendly but not in a fake way. Catherine, the financial advisor, was extremely helpful, informative, and patient. I highly recommend her if you're looking for someone to help with financial planning. I even bring her financial forms that I don't understand or don't know how to complete and she is always more than willing to help. Another great thing is they have a public notary free of charge. They also let me use the bathroom which requires escorting me down the stairs and back up. read more

Easy access to ATM machines and very clean in the lobby. It is also very well lit and seems to be a perfectly safe spot to grab some cash.

9:30am on Monday morning and only one teller while a specialist walks around putting lollipops out and then goes to play on his computer with no one else in the bank. Nice customer service! read more

Does their job well. The customer service in this branch is some of the best I've had. Jack Lin saved my Chase experience after the awful afternoon I had in the Fort Hamilton's branch. He went out of his way to accomplish what I asked for, even if it meant staying pass closing hour. (Unlike the Fort Hamilton's branch which denied me because it would take too long...
