It doesn't make sense that I have had an account for many years and now am unable to sign in.

I approached the main door and noted that there was paper over the windows. It advised patrons that the lobby was closed, but that they should drive through the tellers instead. Ok, I'm fine with that. I drove around and went to the main teller window, nearly scraping my tire on the narrow lane. Then I saw that the teller window was also covered with paper advising that they too were 'closed'. WTH? This location only recently added a drive-up ATM. Are they SO proud of it that they shut down literally the ENTIRE rest of the facility to force you to use it? If the lobby is shut down, why do they imply that you can still use the drive thru teller when they are also gone ? I was later able to drive to the Hwy 54 BoA location and complete my transaction. But my question is: why is that location almost completely shut down? And if that is the norm, could BoA at least TRY to inform customers about it?

This is by far the worst Bank of America location that I have ever tried to do business with over…read morethe past 20 years. Unfortunately, it's the closest Bank of America to me and I find myself attempting to use their services only to find out that they have continued to close their lobby and limit the services available through the drive-through. Today however, I went through the drive-through with an attempt to do a normal transaction at 11:15 AM in the morning. Again, the lobby was closed but in addition to that, there was a sign covering the teller window to advise that they were closed for lunch and would return at noon. This is ridiculous. It's enough to make me consider pulling all of my accounts from Bank of America and moving to a credit union because the big banks just do not care anymore.

DO NOT BANK WITH REGIONS…read more * **20-year Regions customer planning to close all accounts because of this experience.** * **Four unnecessary branch visits.** * **Told to obtain a new Social Security card for no reason.** * **Multiple voicemails ignored by both my banker and the branch manager.** * **Three months without resolution over a simple $32 issue.** * **The only positive part of this experience was employee Shay at the Fayetteville branch.** I rarely leave negative reviews, but after more than three months of trying to resolve a simple issue involving the Peachtree City Regions Bank branch, I feel other customers should know what to expect. My experience began in April, and it's now July. During that time, I received virtually no meaningful help from either banker Vasuthara or the branch manager. The original reason for my visit was simple. I wanted to understand why my secured Regions credit card had never graduated to an unsecured card after four years of perfect payment history and responsible credit utilization. I also had two unexplained bank charges totaling $32 that I wanted reviewed. I was told that the credit card couldn't be addressed because it was handled by a different department, which was disappointing but understandable. However, Vasuthara assured me she could help me get the $32 refunded. Instead, the conversation became focused on the fact that my bank account used only part of my legal name while my driver's license displayed my full legal name--even though the name on my account is fully contained within my legal name. I was told I needed to update my information before anything else could move forward. Over the course of four separate branch visits, I spent time obtaining a replacement Social Security card because I was assured it would be necessary to resolve the issue. On my fourth visit, Vasuthara was no longer at the Fayetteville branch. Another employee, Shay, helped me instead. Shay was knowledgeable, professional, and immediately informed me that the steps I'd been told to take--including getting a new Social Security card--were completely unnecessary. She was able to help with part of my issue but explained that the refund would need to be completed by Vasuthara since she had originally started the process. Shay even emailed Vasuthara twice on my behalf. Neither of us ever received a response. I then called the Peachtree City branch twice and left messages for Vasuthara. No one ever called me back. On my third call, I asked to speak with the branch manager. I left him a voicemail. After waiting three days without hearing anything, I called again and finally spoke with him. After briefly explaining everything, he took my information and told me he would call me back in five minutes. Thirty minutes passed with no call, so I called the branch again. I sat on hold for twelve minutes before being told he was with another customer. I completely understand that helping customers who are physically in the branch is important. However, after four in-person visits, multiple unanswered voicemails, and more than three months of waiting, I expected far better communication than a promised five-minute callback that never happened. At that point, I told the representative that if I didn't receive a resolution by the end of the day, I would be sharing my experience publicly. Unfortunately, that resolution never came. This review isn't about the $32. It's about the complete lack of communication, accountability, ownership, and follow-through. Had anyone simply returned a phone call or taken responsibility for seeing this issue through, this review never would have been necessary. The one bright spot in this experience was Shay at the Fayetteville branch. She was professional, honest, transparent, and the only employee who seemed genuinely interested in helping solve the problem. I've been a loyal Regions customer for approximately **20 years**, but this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company. After months of being ignored over an issue that should have been resolved with a simple phone call, I have decided to close my Regions accounts and take my business elsewhere. I sincerely hope Regions improves its customer service and accountability because no long-term customer should have to work this hard just to get someone to follow through on a promise.
