Nelvia was not only a wealth of knowledge but also had the patience to spend 2 1/2 hours explaining every question I had in detail. Not only did she provide instruction on how to navigate the PNC website and online banking, but she also offered detailed guidance and suggestions for each of our personal accounts and a nonprofit account I managed for the Warren County Park Foundation. Even if overdraft fees show up - run to PNC and they will be removed as long as you cover the amount needed. So far I have saved hundreds of dollars by PNC's early warning system. After being a member of FCFCU for 7 years, we received a "loss account letter" from them yesterday…read morestating that they couldn't offer ANY further services other than a simple savings account with cash "only" in and out due to a charge back on BAKER CREDIT UNION who they merged with? It was because of a car repossession on her ex husband who she was tied to at the time 19 YEARS AGO! Needless to say, we've been with them for 7 years, absolutely no negative dings to either of us on our credit, and NEVER a late payment of ANY kind on utilities or anything else! Both of us have had STELLAR credit ratings (770 and above) and also bank with Fulton and Edward R Jones. I have kept a small amount of savings(3K) just to take advantage of FCFCU's low interest rate Visa credit card. NOT ANYMORE! When you have a history of paying off THREE car loans early, paying off a previous home mortgage EARLY, never missing a payment on utilities in your lifetime, and a substantial money market account with a competitor ~ we don't need this kind of BS! In today's economy, you would think any financial institution would take into account your solid and dependable payment history over something that happened almost 20 years ago considering the MANY deadbeats that drive their accounts into overdraft continuously, but whatever? today I came to the Phillipsburg branch to cash in my change. I waited for someone to help me. the…read morewoman who took me(unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was an older woman with brown short hair) asked me what I needed. told her I needed my change cashed in. she took my change and asked me to fill out a slip while she cashed it in. I only filled out my name because I didn't have any other info. when she finishes I tell her I only filled out my name. she immediately gave me an attitude and says "you can't cash your change in here if you don't have an account!" mind you, other people are in there. she continues to huff and puff and grunt very loudly to the point where I was starting to feel humiliated. I told her I could open an account and it's not big deal and also that she didn't need to be rude. she of course tells me she wasn't being rude and that I should have told her I didn't have an account. I have cashed change at other banks before and never needed an account. just charged a small fee. I did set up account only so I could get my money back. I left there so upset. unfortunately I will never go back to that bank. customer service, especially for a new customer, is number one and today was the first time I ever felt so belittled all because I didn't say I had an account.
