I can no longer access my account because of the myriad "safe guards" the bank has imposed, making it extremely difficult and inconvenient to sign in. There is no longer the possibility of calling to ask a simple question. Honestly, I can't decide if I'm more irritated with this damned iPhone or the stupid banks rules. Poorly managed by Richard Hoffman. On Saturday, I became very irritated by how inefficiently the bank was operating. I waited my turn to see a banker simply to renew a CD--something that takes no more than a two‑minute phone call at Bank of America or Comerica. Several others were also waiting patiently. When Richard finally called me into his office, I was disappointed to learn that he couldn't help me and that I would instead need to wait for a banker. When I asked why he couldn't handle it, he explained that he had another appointment. I then asked how long it would be before I could see a banker and was told, very casually, that the wait would be 1 to 1.5 hours. That is absurd. Richard didn't have time to renew my CD, yet he somehow found the time to close my accounts. I hope you can see how unreasonable that is. When I arrived, there was only one woman waiting in the lobby. I also spoke with Amy, who initially opened my accounts, who told me she couldn't help because she was leaving for an off‑site meeting, which I initially understood. However, she was back before I even left the bank, which made that explanation difficult to believe. Meanwhile, the other banker called the waiting woman into his office. After addressing her original reason for visiting, he began trying to sell her a credit card. During this time, the number of people waiting for a banker grew to four, myself included. Ultimately, this comes down to priorities. I won't be back. Bank of America and Comerica make banking easy and pleasant for their clients--and I suspect that's why I've been with Bank of America for 35 years. read more

Today I went back for the third or fourth time now to try again to pick up my grandmothers estate... this has by far been the most horrifying experience of my life at any financial institution. I can't even fully express the gravity of the lack of compassion for someone who just suffered the loss of her parents and grandmother, who's is a single mother just served her own death sentence and given the run around unnecessarily for months from chase to be kicked out for saying are you fing kidding me not even loud and rightfully so (other employees even apologize me multiple times to me over what's happened over weeks) the manager here has absolutely ZERO regard for human anything. What a disgusting excuse for a human being. The only thing he cares about is a corporate job and paycheck. Please I beg you go bank somewhere where they care about you as a human because if something happens to you personally they will literally tell you to kick rocks and smile while you break down in tears in their face. This place is exactly what is wrong with the world today. I'm so beyond appalled.. how unbelievably sickening and shameful. I can't imagine that manager has a family he goes home to and treats this way. Just speechless. I literally asked him to just apologize for treating me so poorly and giving me the run around and my family the run around for so long and he refused and so I said are you fing kidding me NOT loud and he kicked me out. After treating us so poorly. What's the most embarrassing part for this tiny little pathetic excuse for a man is that his own employee, the poor processor, even look at me with the sorriest look on his face and had to look down cause he couldn't make eye contact. He knew what his manager was doing and how he was treating me was SO WRONG. I feel the sorriest for him because he has to work under this person still. That employee had his hands tied dealing with an upset client and a manager who had no sense of self awareness at all. This is very common for small men to think they can treat women like this and I worry for his wife if he has one. He clearly felt threatened by a women who stood on her own two feet and demanded a simple apology. That's why he would rather refuse me service than offer a simple apology for treating me so poorly. A similar lawsuit was just wind awarding a customer an extra two million dollars at Starbucks for not apologizing due to pride just like this. I would really take a step back and look in the mirror if I want my business to thrive and want to not fall on my face as a businessman in this world, especially for this specific manager. I didn't expect to like this bank. After working a really terrible hack by an ex-boyfriend, the bank managers/account specialists (?) tolerated my lengthy story and gave me a chance to explain things. They helped immediately and immensely. As I waited briefly for my appointment ( you can walk in and sign for a chat, too), I noticed that the line for the regular banking queue, customers and the banking staff knew each other by name, quite often. I consider it more of a neighborhood bank feel, despite being one of the largest banks globally. Definitely recommend! read more

Omg again I went inside the bank, stood there for two minutes looked at one of the youngest tellers there. She was just looking down. It almost look like she was sleeping. Finally, I said, are you taking customers and she goes yes. The money I took out cash she just threw in an envelope and I said, do you think you can count that in front of me and she just looked at me dumbfounded and said sure this branch is absolutely horrible. If it were possible to give zero stars this Chase Bank would be a prime example of receiving the big O stars. The location is awful, parking lot is a joke to get in and out of. Their drive thru ATMs are down more often than they are operable. The staff is unhelpful, and unfriendly and the lines inside are ridiculous as they never have enough tellers or customer service people (they don't even bother with a sign in anymore). I have personally called and complained at least 3 times about their ATM's not taking deposits etc and their standard response is (the bank is not responsible for the ATMs only the one in their lobby INSIDE) the bank. Oh sure, that makes sense? What? I have been a Chase customer for years and there is no excuse for this lack of good customer service at a large bank like this. I am a customer with Chase and have been for many years! This is not an indictment of Chase Bank as a whole, but this branch is terrible! Awful customer service very rude. They are 15 minutes from the Canadian border and don't even have Canadian money to exchange on hand... any other Chase that I have gone to to exchange money, it is easy. read more

If zero stars were an option I would give that. We use this location for work (I would never personally bank through chase). Chase has shut their drive through window and all but two windows inside. They've done away with their business window. I routinely spend at least 30 minutes or more waiting. I'm currently writing this review with 6 people in front of me and only two windows open. On January 2, I noticed that a withdrawl of 75.00 was taken out of my account. I immediately called chase to inquire about the transaction. They had told me that in Aug of 2017 that 40.00 was also taken out for the same place. The customer service representative told me that the 40.00 could not be reversed because it was past the 60 day time frame that Chase has for claims. Ok no big deal! Fast forward to January 13, I see that Chase had reversed the 75.00 dollars back to whomever. I called again, and now they are saying that the 75.00 was past the 60 day time frame. I got confused when the money was taken out of my account at 5:10 January 1, how is that past the 60 day time frame? I got irate! It boils down to this, Chase bank stole 35.00 from me and refuses to return it stating some federal law. I can completely understand the 40 but now I am out money that they had no right of stealing! Go figure, the top 1 percent still keep stealing from the working poor in this country. read more

Terrible bank with terrible customer service. They eliminated the drive through and every inside teller except one. When you walk in the staff is all standing there doing absolutely nothing. They try to get you to use their automated machines instead of speaking to a real person. They are basically encouraging you to use a machine that will eventually put them out of work. How ignorant are they?? Some people can't use automated machines if they are making a deposit for someone else or for whatever other reason there might be. This brand used to be great. It's a complete mess right now. Whoever is sitting in the Chase corporate office that came up with the idea of closing the drive throughs and removing all the inside teller windows except 1 should be fired immediately. You are killing your banks. I've already closed 1 of my chase accounts because of this. As soon as my car loan through chase is done I will be closing my other account too. There are so many good banks out there to easily take the place of chase. If anyone reading this is considering opening a chase account... please think of other banks first.
