Compared to Navy Federal Credit Union, which consistently supports military members with better loan rates, better app reliability, and stronger customer service, Security Service has been disappointing. Based on my experience, I would rate this bank 2 out of 10 and would not recommend it, especially for military members who have better options with Navy Federal. I'm over it this Credit Union went yesterday after business hour cuz I work the same business hours…read moreand had the sign that is not accepting deposit. Even went to the location that is at the Hwy 35 and the same board. Was charge a $24 overdraft for a transaction of $2 I called them to see if they can waived the fee cuz is not my fault that two different location cannot be deposit and the rep told I should deposit the previous Saturday cuz the bank is open and they cannot do nothing about the fee. This is an inconvenience to the customer not aloud to deposit whatever I want to deposit on the ATM. I went today again Tuesday (next day) and this time took a picture so Better Business could take action. A credit union that I can't even transfer by zelle or Apple Cash to cover before get any fees. Long story short ended up doing a check from another personal account to this account to cover their fee and the overdraft thru the app. At the end the credit Union was not paid the transaction besides the fee. With all those fee that they don't refund to the customer should used them to upgrade the ATMs and app transfers.
