Very little was seamless and I am having to rebuild most of my payees and ACH network. Also, the rates are not even remotely competitive with the financial tools I used with Prime Meridian. This acquisition has taken a banking gem from Tallahassee.

They will deny you access to your own funds if you're hospitalized, jailed, out of the area and NO ONE will be able to help you. They will nicely greet your family, your legal representive, your power of attorney or attorney at law, but they will deny you your money. They will sit in their chairs while you burn. No branch can deal with ANYTHING without speaking to someone out of state in one of their many corporate offices. This is even if you can meet with someone in your local branch. It's by luck or appointment only. Up to a 2 to 3 day wait. Opening a business account? If you're lucky enough to get an appointment, go ahead and take off for the rest of the day to deal with a bureacratic disaster. They don't know how to operate their own computers, their programs, their scanners, etc. And they cannot figure out who to speak to for help at the corporate level. You get to watch them tracking down someone on the phone and it takes forever or you have to come back another day because that person cannot be located, is on a break or is gone for the day. Ive been a member of this Credit Union. for more than 60 years. Ive taken loans for babies, cars,…read morehouses, personal expenses. Ive had many many great experiences with this credit union and met so many great people. But today? Not so much. FCCU has so many minimally trained persons in their offices. Some not trained in a proper customer service ATTITUDE, some just not trained in their policies and procedures. A lot not trained in the use of the computer applications. A number of employees Ive met have great attitudes but dont have the detail experience to successfully service your needs. The website they give you to do your business on is pretty good but Ive found dead ends and things that dont work. I love this organization but If asked to recommend FCCU, I would be hesitant. I wonder if it is time to exit an organization Ive been with since 1966. I ponder that decision.
