As well as limits your ability to go after them for any wrong doing. Further more i do not have access to my accounts unless i agree to this effectively debanking me by keeping me from accessing my account information. Federally they are not legally allowed in any capacity to force you into signing a contract under the laws of Duress. I suggest you read before signing and decide if you continue to want to bank with ECU im wondering if i now need to close my account and switch to another institution. Yes, it is illegal for a company to "force" you to sign a contract; signing a contract should always be a voluntary act where both parties agree to the terms, meaning you have the right to refuse if you disagree with the contract's contents.
