I could not be more pleased with the level of communication, thoroughness, and customer service the bank has provided. My initial phone conversation was with Ven Achanti. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure he fully understood the issue and followed up quickly over email to get some further information that we discussed. I then had a call with Bob Naegele and Bogdana Alba, who wanted to get an understanding of the business and our requirements to make sure they could be of assistance. Both Bob and Bogdana were friendly and knowledgeable. Once we all agreed that this was the right fit for our business needs, I flew out to complete the account opening process. Upon arrival at the branch, I was greeted by Ven who was just as nice in person as on the phone. I then met with Bogdana who efficiently moved through the process and was very nice and easy to work with. I waited less than five minutes for one of the ladies in the office to help me. She was very friendly and spent time talking with me after. They were very clean inside. Parking was not an issue. Huntington and I have a long history, you see. So long that...if you had asked me to rate them 10…read moreyears ago, I'd have given them 5 stars as a branch. So, as most of you locals know, these are common throughout Ohio and even in certain parts of Pennsylvania. Ergo, this review will cover two aspects: the individual location and the branch itself. If you were to review each building individually, there wouldn't be much difference aside from how the tellers and bankers handle their customer base. With that in mind, we can quickly talk about this place. I was in here maybe all of 20 minutes to close an account. Considering I had a small wait in the beginning, I'd say they handled everything pretty efficiently. Except.. Okay, so...you know how after you close an account, the bank issues your remaining balance to you via check? Well, here's where my evaluation of Huntington as a branch comes in. Because, guys....this place has some anomalies when it comes to tracking transaction vs balance. I won't get into the mathematical gymnastics I needed to do in order to settle some transaction disputes a few months back due to possibly the most sophisticated hacking job I've ever seen done to me, or else you'd be reading this review till Christmas. Let's just say, Huntington should maybe reevaluate their algorithm for balance tracking. Let's say I transfer $100 to myself from Huntington to another account at an outside bank. Naturally, the Huntington balance should be $100 lower than whatever it was, right? Except this place does a thing where...the balance is lower one day, then displays its original balance, almost as if the transfer was rejected. A couple days later, the transfer will finish and take out the amount for reals this time. It's stupid as f*#k and has messed up my budget at least twice now. Needless to say, while I appreciate the years I spent with Huntington, I am glad to be done with them. It would be impossible for me to manage my finances from out of state anyway. I don't even live here anymore. If you ask me now, I'd have to give Huntington overall around 3 stars, based on the way they handled everything the past year (thus contributing to my reasons for leaving). As for this location specifically, it's worth 4 figured accounts out of 5.
