    I live in a Cove managed building with a terrible insect infestation in its pipes. I was told by…read morethe manager that the entire building would be treated, starting this morning. It is approaching 1:00 pm and the exterminator has yet to arrive. The building has approximately 75 units and there is no way that they can all be treated before the end of the day. Update: management has called to let me know that the exterminators won't be coming for another 2 weeks. I have insects coming out of my drains, and have no way of closing them completely as the stoppers don't function in the bathroom sinks and the other drains don't even have stoppers. God only knows where these bugs have been; it is possibly the most disgusting insect problem I have ever had to deal with. I have had to purchase my own traps, but the bugs keep coming. Management doesn't seem to understand that it is a building-wide problem (maintenance has relayed some horrific situations in other units), offering only spot treatments. These apartments are advertised as being "luxury" with "hardwood" floors. Hardly. Perhaps it is considered a luxury to have appliances in one's unit; that is the extent of the so-called luxury. Please note that vinyl planks that look a bit like wood are not actually hardwood. I don't have a balcony or a doorman, a pool or yard. Packages are stolen, homeless people allowed to roam inside. This building wasn't luxury without the insects. A luxury apartment building, I believe, ought to have a more knowledgable management team. At the very least, they shouldn't contradict each other about how the issues will be addressed. Security cameras won't address the insects, but they might address the theft and trespassing. I feel bad for the 2 maintenance men, who are assigned to 2 buildings of +/- 75 units as well as another building that takes up half a city block. 2 managers and 2 maintenance men are simply not sufficient for this number of units in buildings that are over 150 years old.

I am a real estate…read moreagent & I've been in the business for 20 years and I have to say when I walked into Eagle Title today I was blown away by the professionalism, the friendly service, the accommodations & everything was amazing and I sat down thinking oh my God the fees are going to be high to my seller and I'm going to have to try to negotiate at the table! (Most of the time I review fees before hand but I did not get a chance I only glanced for this one). It seems most title companies these days are trying to charge and gouge sellers astronomical fees when they are not the chooser of the title company! I was pleasantly surprised at the "NORMAL" rates. Our title attorney went around the table and introduced herself shaking hands with each person, Thank you Brooke! You were amazing!! We stayed for 1.5 hours, I don't think anyone wanted to leave!! We all chatted and told stories, had some of the nice treats and drinks they provide, it was like a community event at a luxurious hotel! I am a Listing Specialist so I do not get to recommend title companies as much, but will try!!! Thank you for making this process so much better!! True 10+ Rating!Kimberly H.
