Repairs here are hit and miss. sometimes they are responsive to service requests but not always. We are still waiting to have a leak under our kitchen sink after two weeks. We've had very little communication as to when it will be fixed and they just missed their forecast as they told is it would be fixed yesterday. No follow up around rescheduling. Avoid this property. I am a current resident. Safety and Maintenance On July 8, 2026, at approximately 1:20 p.m., I reported a large wasp/hornet nest in the corner of my balcony. I notified the leasing office and submitted a service request that included a photograph. The office scheduled pest control for the following Monday -- roughly six days after I reported it. In the meantime, the insects are entering my unit, and I've had to keep my windows closed in summer heat, which makes the apartment difficult to occupy. I even offered to arrange and pay for licensed removal sooner, but the office did not respond. For a genuine safety issue, the lack of urgency has been the hardest part. Elevator Out of Service The elevator has been out of service since June 14, 2026. As of July 9, 2026, it has remained unavailable for approximately 25 days. Response to Management's Public Reply I provided management with a detailed written record of the billing issue and the related communications. Nearly a year ago, I was told that the billing department was preparing a letter confirming the matter had been resolved. Despite repeated follow-up, I never received that letter or written confirmation that my credit had not been affected. I later contacted management again and sent another detailed account of the events and communications. I received no response. Their public reply now asks me to contact the office so they can review the matter. However, I had already contacted them twice, provided complete documentation, and waited nearly a year for the written confirmation they said was being prepared. In my experience, their public response does not reflect the follow-up I actually received. I wish this platform allowed me to attach screenshots of the messages, including the reply stating they "stand by their practices." Those practices included referring my account to collections even though I did not owe the amount in question. What also appears to have been disregarded is the amount of time this consumed: contacting the collection agency, documenting the history, following up with management, seeking written confirmation, and reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities. That time and stress were real, yet I received no meaningful acknowledgment of either. Billing I've had repeated billing and communication problems with Chateau Woods since moving in. Unfortunately, the pattern has become distressing, especially around billing. I still live here, so I do not write this lightly. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage current and future residents to carefully review their ledger, save all communications, and double-check every charge. The most troubling part has not only been the billing mistakes themselves, but the lack of urgency and accountability in correcting them. In my experience, several issues required repeated follow-up before they were addressed, and even admitted mistakes were not handled in a way that respected my time. One particularly serious situation involved my account being referred to collections even though I did not owe the amount in question. I received a call from a collection agency and had to spend significant time contacting the collection department, following up, and trying to get the matter corrected. When I raised the issue, I was told, "We stand by our practices." I was also told I would receive written confirmation that the issue was resolved, but that letter was never provided. There have also been other billing concerns that required repeated follow-up, explanations, and corrections. The amount of time I have had to spend trying to get basic answers and written confirmation has been extremely stressful. I am now requesting complete billing statements and explanations so I can have the account reviewed carefully. I had to break my lease as I bought a house, I of course paid the lease breaking fees. A month later I get a bill with ADDITIONAL RENT charges and other unexplained charges even after getting the apartment professionally cleaned. I tried to reach out to their Leasing agent MULTIPLE times over email as well as the owning company but no one is willing to respond and explain the charges. I lived here a few years ago. I came back to visit a friend. What a change. Is no one cleaning this place anymore. Maybe it's the maids month off. When I walked by the trash room you cannot miss that smell. Maybe I just forgot. I know the carpet is designed to hide things but it ain't working. I like the look of the hardwood floors but the unit below hears every step. Just glad we got out when we did. It's a great location. read more

Hot water was out for several months last year and they told us to get our hot water usage in early in the day before it runs out and then also suggested residents just go to a gym and shower LOL. Now the hot water issue is back again and it's only warm. No frequent updates. The elevators go down for multiple weeks. The carpet in the hallways is nasty and not cleaned regularly. I've run into longterm residents in the hallways who are moving because they've seen the decline in this property, as well as unhappy residents vandalizing the company's bad attempt at trying to appear caring with notices about holidays and happenings in Woodinville. This place was amazing when I moved in and charged a premium for it. Both people who worked in the office have since retired and the new person splits their time between properties and sends out snippy emails to residents. This place has turned into a dump, don't be fooled by the old positive reviews. Since when is it OK to be without hot water over and over AND not even be compensated or setup in a hotel! They are cutting costs everywhere they can and putting patch fixes that don't hold up on the hot water & elevators. DO NOT MOVE HERE! read more

Chateau Woods is a great place to live. Excellent management. Maintenance is very responsive to our needs. Close to all the great restaurants and wineries that make Woodinville such a wonderful place to live. I've lived here 17 months and love it. The complex is well managed by a team of 4 who are very responsive to maintenance issues, neighbor noise (of which I have had almost none) and any questions or concerns that have come up. Also, the man who cleans the building common areas does a fantastic job. This is just a very well run complex. The units are spacious and nicely appointed with more than the standard closet space for an apartment. The location is great too with just a short walk to downtown Woodinville, groceries and the fabulous plant nursery Molbak's. If you're looking for a nice place to live that's near everything, this is a great option. read more
