We ended up having to move out 2 days before our wedding in the beginning of December. The next day I could not get my mail or anything from the building. Management did not communicate with us regarding turnover. Management then got rid of all of our personal belongings in our garage, including family heirlooms, family pictures, furniture( one of which was my great grandmothers that she crocheted the backing and pedal stool), tools, motocross bikes etc. When reaching out to Lori who works at Haven she told us "it wasn't her problem and she doesn't have time for this". She also stated, " you should have paid $7000 to break your lease ‍ not my problem". I would NOT recommend moving here as the management is unprofessional and inconsiderate! They do not care about the individuals living in the apartment or those moving out. All they care about is their bottom line! A simple phone call regarding turnover, property removal, etc. could be the difference between generations of memories wrongfully disposed ! DO NOT MOVE HERE. Their google review has been skewed as since my post they had asked 16 people post positive remarks regarding staff and management instead of reaching out to us regarding their wrongful disposal of our personal belongings... pretty desperate if you ask me.

My wife and I are really happy with our experience thus far. There were some issues with tenants being loud late at night in the pool grill area and pulling some juvenile pranks (a bunch of fratboy jackasses made swastikas out of lawn chairs one night), but management handled that pretty quickly. I see neighbors congregating all the time without issue. It's a really nice community for the most part. The only time problems arose is when the same group of college kids were treating the pool grill area like the backyard of the Alpha Beta house. Corn hole sets left on the public walk ways, beer bottles left on the public tables, noise all night, every night, etc. Again, management appears to have handled that and it's been nice and quiet during the evenings when it's supposed to be. If you're looking for a nice property and want to take a look around, ask for Shelby. She's been amazing with us pre and post move-in.

Started reviewing Eden Square back in 2001 with a 5 on Yelp, but changing that to a 1 after the…read morecurrent management informed us (with no explanation) that they were not renewing our lease after almost 6 years. We NEVER missed a timely payment, NEVER had a problem with any other tenants. Our only problems were with the declining tenant services and treatment, which began about 2 years after we moved in. When we rented, there was a full-time manager, an assistant manager, a leasing agent and two full time maintenance people on staff. We probably should have moved out anyway when staffing became ONE woman who was hardly EVER in the clubhouse office because she was also responsible for leasing AND supervising the ONE remaining maintenance person. We loved our apartment but did NOT love the terrible neglect all tenants experienced after the January 2026 snowstorm. Both my partner and I are mobility challenged and pretty much stayed indoors for the first 3 days or so after the storm - but had doctor appointments thereafter and faced REALLY difficult conditions. 1. The remaining manager didn't bother having the area around the mailbox shoveled at all. 2. Handicap spaces were only partially plowed. 3. NONE of the sidewalks AROUND the complex were touched by a shovel - management of Eden Square just waited for the snow to melt. (This was in defiance of township maintenance codes.) 4. One of our neighbors bought a snow shovel, finished shoveling the snow in the handicap spaces at our building AND removed the pile of snow the plow had left in front of our GARAGE. There is more - like the fact we noticed after a couple of years that the "facing" on pillars in front of some of the buildings was being held on by large white ZIP TIES. The Clubhouse was basically useless because it was ONLY available for use when a manager was present and that was RARE - but you get the idea. Our current clubhouse is available 24 hours a day, space can be rented for private parties at night and there are pool tables and golf practice rooms also available 24/7) for example at a very competitive monthly rental. Eden Square is supposedly managed by AJH Management - which has an F RATING at the better business bureau and is based in Lakewood NJ. The owner of the complex (and perhaps 20-30 others in the Atlantic region is someone named Asher Handler. This complex is truly CAVEAT EMPTOR. They did us a VERY INCONVENIENT favor by telling us to leave.

In response to the owner, "Kim B" s response to my original post:…read more "We are disheartened to see a 1-star review. Our pest control services reported no silverfish infestation in the building as this was confined to one apartment. Sorry we missed your call as we are sometimes with other residents or out showing our community. We strive to return any call backs in a timely manner. Pest control services are offered twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. If you have any questions please reach out to our leasing office.rochestervillagem...." I am disheartened to pay $1,700 a month to sleep with insects. You say the pest control reported no insects in the building publicly on the post but you don't publicly mention them "checking" was them coming into my apartment for 10 minutes and the man from FireDex performing the moisture test saying to me "I thought this was a ground level issue, there's nothing I can do here." and then leaving. I have since called Will with 0 response, and I still have silverfish. As of the posting of this comment it has been 13 days since I have called without a response. Will told me over the phone the invoice for my personal exterminator would be taken care of from morgan properties, then emails me the next day, not a phone call, and lets me know that the refund was not "approved"? I assure you it is not confined to one apartment, I have seen them in the halls and on the ground floor as well. When it rains, I can see a hundred silverfish on my balcony. Turning on the AC attracts them through the vents, supposedly because of the condensation the unit creates outputting cold air, Kate even mentioned this (perhaps this isn't the first time this has been brought up?). So my apartment either needs to be in the low 60s or high 80s unless the weather is cold to not live with bugs. No one is that sorry about missing my call because they consistently do not return them. It is strange how once I came in person to the leasing office and made this an issue someone was waiting on the line for me for the first time ever that following day. Since though, its back to blissful ignorance. What a truly nightmarish place where the landlords ignore insect problems and regurgitate the same phrase out of the handbook "our exterminators come on these days, sorry for missing your calls".

Where to begin? First the positives - the neighborhood is clean, quiet, has friendly neighbors,…read moretucked away from the main roads and is in a premier school district. When we moved in, the home was filthy. There was a brown water stain on the living room ceiling, the inside of the kitchen cabinets were filthy and had salt, sugar and rice in them and the exterior of the kitchen cabinets were greasy. The master bathroom towel bar was being held in the wall by a bunched up paper towel. The laminate floors were also filthy, one bathroom sink had a huge burn mark on it presumably from a curling iron and the bedroom doors were hung improperly and wouldn't stay closed. I could go on and on and on with the maintenance issues that should have been done and should have been caught by the property manager before leasing the home. Maintenance is almost impossible to get in touch with since they NEVER answer calls and voicemail is full. While we lived there three years, the property went through three property managers. The property managers, all three, were unprofessional, made themselves scarce by never answering phone calls, never returning calls and never returning e-mails. The most recent property manager, Nancy, was extremely rude, never followed through on anything and did nothing to facilitate getting anything done in the rental. Residents are responsible for cutting grass, shoveling snow and pretty much completing their own maintenance. Towards the end of our lease we had several on-going maintenance issues that we had called and sent numerous e-mails about that were never addressed. The property manager stated in a rare e-mail to stop by the office to schedule for the maintenance, one of which was the towel bar continually coming out of the wall in the master bathroom. When my husband went to the office to make arrangements, as soon as he walked in to the office, the manager told him to stop and not come any closer. Being caught off guard and puzzled, my husband stopped. The manager then proceeded to yell that she was sick and tired of all of our issues, which were routine maintenance that should have been completed in a timely manner, but had been ongoing for months and months. I had had a horrible accident a week or so prior to this day and she told my husband that my injuries were probably fake and she tried to say that my husband broke the front door to the management office, even though there is a video camera, and she had nothing to back up her claim. She told my husband that we'd be hearing from her attorney. About a week later we received a letter from the manager stating they would not be renewing our lease and we had approximately two months to vacate. No reason was given for the non-renewal in the letter and it was not an eviction notice. We were shocked because we ALWAYS paid our rent in full and on time, kept the rental and property looking nice and were never disruptive to our neighbors. We tried contacting the corporate office multiple times with no luck. We moved out, which was a blessing in disguise. My advice DO NOT MOVE HERE. Management is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Maintenance staff is inept and getting any maintenance completed is damn near impossible. You will absolutely regret it.
