It's an open space shop, with wide aisles and lots of glass shelves and racks to keep the light flowing throughout. It makes it easy to see the item in a non-distracting setting. Things are mixed throughout so you'll find similar items all around the store. There's a mix of media here, art created by the two owners along with pottery, jewelry, prints, scarves, and the like made by others with whom they share a common view. The goods are contemporary for the most part, but with a nice variety. For a unique gift, or to claim ownership of an original work of art, you'll find this is a good place to start, or stop. You can probably find something less expensive at a similar-themed place, but what you get may be more cookie-cutter style.

The courthouse had a massive fire in 2010 and the bricks were the only thing that could be salvaged. There are photos documenting the rebuilding process. The museum has free admission. The museum is mostly in one room but there is a gallery in another room and a gift shop. The museum tells about the people from Chatham County. There is a section that deals with the land and the agriculture of the area. Another section focuses on education and an old school. Veterans are also given a section of the museum and a tribute. Volunteers run the exhibit and are happy to answer and questions you have. The hours the museum is open are limited but if it is open when you are in Downtown Pittsboro it is worth a stop.

The lady (her name escapes me), helped my pick out colors to match the items, frame, glass, etc. I did have to put a payment down when placing the order and made the remainder of the payment when I picked it up.
