We had a wonderful dinner there on a Friday night. It was super busy, so we sat at the bar to wait for a table and ended up eating right there. Because it is Wisconsin, I started out with a brandy old-fashioned. I forgot how genuinely delightful it is to be offered a mushroom as a choice of the garnish. It was an excellent drink. They don't have Biron tap, but they do have a decent selection of beer in the bottle, which is what my companion ordered. Fridays are fish night and there was a wide selection of different fish that you could order, prepared in a variety of manner. I was super excited that they had a lake perch on the menu, because I so rarely see that. I probably didn't need an entire half pound, but it was really delicious. My companion ordered fish fryand enjoyed that as well. We didn't sample the rest of the menu, but they were plenty of good options. The number of people dining there tells me that the food must be good. So glad we went. Hope to go again when I am in Rapids.

I was fortunate to score the end cut that came with a baked potato and vegetables. It was served piping hot, tender with excellent seasoning. The portion was more than generous requiring a doggie bag. Food and service were excellent, a Brandy Alexander would have been a terrific way to top off the meal, unfortunately they weren't on the menu. A wonderful dining experience and an affordable price.

The menu was standard fare for what you'd find in a Wisconsin tavern. The bloody mary's were good, and the cheese curds were excellent. Not surprisingly, there were not really any vegetarian options so I went pescatarian for the day and ate fish tacos, which were decent. Service was friendly, albeit slow. The view from the restaurant, overlooking the Wisconsin River, is breathtaking and worth the visit. So, if you need a lunch place in Wisconsin Rapids that serves alcohol, it's a good option.

We had an absolute blast the guns are very accurate and you could shoot at a persons gun or their headband and you could shoot them with perfect accuracy from about 600ft away!! Definitely the best laser tag experience I have ever had and I always try them out at any given chance. They had a great laser tag area that reminds me of a paintball setup lots of barriers some cars and the vibe was post apocalyptic. If you like paintball, laser tag, shooting video games, or shooting in general this place is a must for you please I recommend anyone that just is looking to have a good day to come and enjoy the experience of this place. The owner was very kind and truly cares to create a fun experience for all of those that come. A multi million dollar renovation several years back has elevated this course to an elite status. We've hosted the WSGA State open several times. Stricker won the last one here in 2000 in a very tight match on the 18th hole. Talk is it'll be back soon. Last year we held a USGA Senior Open qualifier to rave reviews. No player broke par. I asked about 30 players about the course and everyone of them congratulated us on the conditions and fair and challenging layout. Ride or not. The generic chain hotels didn't appeal to me, so I looked to Airbnb for something better. Enter Walker House. From the beginning, my communication with the owner Mike was prompt, courteous, and professional. When I arrived, he was there to greet me, and my private room was cozy, clean, and included some refreshments -- a welcome creature comfort after the 10 hour drive! I shared a bathroom, but it was clean, spacious, and had more than enough clean white towels for myself and the other guests utilizing it. Not to be outdone, Sue made a delicious breakfast in the morning. I enjoyed fresh fruit salad, eggs Benedict, and homemade blueberry muffins. I was super stuffed by the end, but didn't mind a bit! The cherry on top was when I had to leave early to drive home (to the tune of 5 AM). Mike woke up and made me a to-go cup of coffee for the road. They offered to bring in tables and chairs for the event. They even provided a bartender. It only cost $250 for the whole day; Saturday. Affordable and open space for at least 100 to bogey down. The only downside is it's outdated. It reminds me of a 70's basement. The ladies bathroom stalls are limited. Plus there's an arcade in the bar area. It takes people alway from the event.
