When I called to book my appointment, I hit it off with Carol over the phone for a half an hour chatting about anything and everything so much that when I went to visit her and her team yesterday for the first time, I brought homemade baked treats, I've never done that for anybody ever before and she totally deserves it. I had an incredible, amazing, relaxing facial with Shannon who as everybody recognizes publicly, is just incredible, probably one of the best facials I've ever had. And just as important, ........unfortunately, I have no idea what is going on with my face, but I had four giant cysts and they were able to inject them yesterday with some high-tech, disappearing serum, I have no idea the medical terminology but wow did it work, it was urgent because today is my anniversary and I want to look cute for a very special dinner tonight and sure enough I woke up blemish free. It took a further 30 mins and one of the assistants told him the reason for the delay was because it wasn't started when we asked for it to be done. Here are my complaints (1) the staff appears to change constantly therefore whatever you have "solved" with the last group, goes right back into chaos with the new ones. (2) for the first few months they faxed for prescription refills to a number that was NOT my doctor. Then they faxed to a dr's fax that wasn't even at the right clinic. (3) They tell you your prescription has "been received". Or "come back in an hour" when it has NOT been received and has NOT been prepared. They have strange rules and regulations with regard to Alberta Health Care (when and what it will cover) and waiting periods (for a medication I have been on for almost 30 years). I discovered from my new (Calgary) pharmacy that neither philosophy (if I can call it that) was true. This pharmacy is inept in many ways.
