Treatment by the front desk lady was not good. She found a way to tell me several times in front of another customer that I was apparently not telling the truth. And that what I was saying was impossible and never happened. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment with AJ and sat down in the lobby. A few minutes later the lady at the front asked how I wanted to pay for the appointment and I told her that I would pay in cash so that I could get the discount. When she went to charge me, she gave me the price of $95. I asked if they had raised their prices and she said no. I said that is odd because for all of the recent appointments I had been paying $90 cash each time not including the tip of course. She said that is impossible. I mentioned that there are 4 of us in my family (forgot that my nephew was the 5th one to take my moms recommendation) and all had been charged that price several times. She continued to comment saying that price has never existed and never been offered. I relented and said that's ok. I had already handed her a $100 bill and just wanted to continue to go in for my appointment. She continued to tell me that I have always paid 95. I let her know that I was certain that I had received $10 change each time I paid with a $100 bill. I again said it's ok. Let's just let it go. Then she proceeded by asking if I would like for her to print a receipt proving that I was wrong about how much I paid each time. She said she could show me the last 4 times I had been there. After feeling like she just couldn't stop treating me like a liar, I said, no, tell you what, please cancel the appointment and return my money to me. She looked up at me and said what? I replied by saying that I didn't like being treated like a liar and would simply take my business elsewhere. I am so disappointed that someone would be so brazen in insistence of trying to make a point like that, even if it meant disrespecting a customer and losing an entire families business in the end. The worst part of all of this is that AJ is the star of this place and she is the one losing the customers. I feel terrible leaving this, but think that the owners of this place should really consider how this ladies decisions are adversely affecting your business. This is only 5 customers where 3 of us have gone multiple times and the other 2 had plans of continuing to patronize until this happened. read more

Price is good yet...I booked early morning for a noon appointment and asked "how much for the massage?...reply was"$65 for one hour". After my noon massage, and when I was paying there is a flyer on the counter that says, Early Bird Special $55. 11am-2pm. I mentioned I would like that price since my massage fell in that time frame. She(the receptionist) said that I needed to use the words "Early Bird Special" when I booked it early that morning. I replied, "but I'm here now during the discount period so please honor what your flyer says". She gently said no. It's ten bucks, I know, and the prices are fair but please don't have an early bird special advertised right there where I can see it, and then not honor it when I was clearly within the "early bird" time frame. Definitely worked me from head to toe! She was kneading out knots that I didn't even realize I had. I called to book my appointment and scheduled for the same day which was a plus since I really needed a massage badly. The scheduler asks questions suitable to your requests which is also a plus. Upon arriving they are very welcoming and still have Covid-19 protocol which makes sense and not overly exaggerating.
