I've researched mortgage prices for myself and others numerous times and Busey has, without exception, been the cheapest place in town for the last 10+ years. If you need a home loan I'm not aware of a better option. I've also held several personal and business accounts at Busey and while I have had problems now and then I know from experience that Busey is more forgiving in most issues than other banks.

My mother was a member. She passed and the customer service in helping us to close her accounts and…read morepay her bills was less than 1 star. They put us through so much hassel, and would not give us information even with a death certificate on file, they sent her mail saying she broke a contract by not paying a loan. After working with multiple people and facing the same horrific service by all, we find out....she had insurance on the loans the entire time and we were beneficiaries to it! 4 employees missed this, ignored our attempts to pay, would not help us in anyway other than to send, in my opinion, inappropriate mailings all while they were paid. Disgusting. I am pulling my direct deposit, and everyone we know is done with them. This is ridiculous.
