I had gone inside and apparently there was a computer program issue. The employee taking care of me must have been new. Rather than get off her personal phone call in the back of the office which I could clearly hear through the safety glass, the poor girl helping me had to keep running back to ask Toni questions. After standing there for 10 minutes, she finally came off her seat to come up front. I asked the employee how much longer it was going to take because I only get a certain amount of time for lunch. Heffe over here comes charging over, condescendingly telling me that there was nothing that they could do, that it has to work itself out. First of all, I should have been told that 5 minutes ago. Second of all, I could have known that sooner had you got off your personal call and did your job, assisting a new employee who was becoming frazzled, with a computer issue. Third of all, I would never speak that way to anyone, especially in a customer service management position, and I worked for your company many years ago. Then to leave me a voice-mail an hour later that the issue was fixed, with your fake customer service voice, please. I saw the real you. I would not recommend going here. There are many other Check Cashing Store locations to go with just a 15 minute drive that I would recommend over this one.

They put me on hold for over 20 minutes and got snappy with me when I got frustrated with the wait time since they hadn't communicated with me at all during the wait (as a matter of fact I had to hang up and call back 2x to get a a response/answer from them because when I called back the first time they put me on hold again without saying anything about what was going on). When I confronted the issue of the wait time and lack of communication, they simply told me they had already stated they were looking for records for a check and said that should have been enough communication. She kept talking over me and not letting me speak. It was very frustrating and unprofessional. Then when I asked about records they too so long to find... they told me they keep records of declined checks or cashed checks. Then she said she didn't have any records of it (then how did you get my info??...) and got upset with me. She said this should be no issue for me because if it would have been cleared it would have cleared my account (yes, I obviously understood that) but she didn't understand why I was concerned that her office called me asking me to call back Alice/Alex? because some stranger named Antonio was trying to cash a check I supposedly wrote. That is concerning because it was attempted fraud! This place is sketchy. I'm not sure how they got my name, my phone number or some random guy trying to cash a check in my name and all of the sudden have no record of if when they clearly had my contact info and an application with my contact info on it. Way too strange. I would stay away. They obviously don't keep good records. If they did, it could have helped me know what fraudulent person had my info. Too weird. One good thing I'll say is that at least they didn't cash that mans fraudulent check. The customer service was AWFUL. I wish I knew the woman's name to give it to you here but all I can say is just stay away from this location since business practices AND customer service is not on par. They are not customer minded but I would imagine the staff turn over is high there anyways. My advice is to run!...

I get down there and wait in line at the Money services place, it's finally my turn, i walk up to the associate and explain to her what had happened and if there was ANY way for her to cash my check and she rudely told me that my check would and I quote "break the machine", she didn't try taping it and told me she couldn't key in the check. So I went and found a check cashing place where I met this WONDERFUL and NICE person named Yairy, she was so polite and kind when I explained what had happened, she did a wonderful job using Tape to put the check back together and it WORKED the first try in the machine. It goes to show you that some people still go the extra mile for their Customers. 10/10 at The Check Cashing Store. Thank you for ALL of your help Yairy!!!!
