I tried City Barber Shop as my decision The original barber shop look isn't fake. Apparently this place was opened in the 50's. I really appreciated the look and feel of this barber shop. I felt right at home! Next is the customer Service and haircut. My Barber (I didn't get her name), was very kind and relatable. We spent the whole haircut talking about whatever! From past jobs, to school experiences, to nervous ticks! They were very kind and I felt very comfortable talking with them. I personally got a Number 1 haircut, that fades, and a Little off of the top. Had a great experience! Will definitely be returning!

This is my second location i had to visit myself. After having a pretty dreadful experience from…read moreanother Milo's location. I was referred to the man himself "Milo Genius". After upon arrival i was able to get my name on the list and said my usual "hello" when trying a new place. (I was not acknowledged or welcomed) No waiting chairs filled, four barbers doing their thing. (One of them had to dip which i understand, the man probably needed a break.) About 15-20 mins of waiting another man showed up right after me and signed in as well. One of the barbers was able to finish up and looked at me saying "Do you have an appointment?' I told him i don't (THERE IS NO SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR THAT SAYS APPOINTMENTS OR HOW TO GET ONE.) The man informed me that he only takes appointments and well told me that the other barbers when they are finished will get to me. Moments later, me and the same man that both signed in (He showed afterwards than me) were just waiting. I then saw one of the barbers finish up her clients cut and literally just looked at the other man and gave him the *Nod*. I felt very profiled and ignored because of the color of my skin . It was not a great feeling but me being a patience man i just observed. I don't have any tattoos or piercings, I felt like i needed to be like this other man which i don't even want to bring up his color of skin. His barber was my own Raza and felt like she was profiling based off age group (Probably thinking the tip will be better) It is a very disappointing feeling and Milo was there to witness it all without saying a thing. The only time i was actually acknowledged was when i started talking to another one of their clients as i was waiting. I had to find out about how to make an appointment through a client that was there waiting for his cut. The client was more informative than the interaction i had with the barber earlier. ($25 with appointment, $15 as a walk in) Overall story, i was pleased with my haircut but its funny how i was welcomed and recommended to come back after i tipped my barber well. I really didn't like the fact that i was profiled and skipped. Not a great experience.
