But a platter with a variety of just a few cheeses for me is so much luxury that I don't even need any wine or other fancy drinks to accompany the cheese. Holandsky Kluk offers so many different varieties that I was pretty overwhelmed the first time I entered the tiny store. Luckily all the sales reps at the story are very friendly and willing to let you taste whatever you are interested in. The "Old Amsterdam" (50czk for 100g if I remember correctly) is my absolute favorite. Make sure to check matured Gouda and some of the goat cheeses as well. That store must be heaven for cheese lovers, I guess. What it lacks in size (the store basically consists of a door, a little bit of space to stand and look around and A LOT of cheese) it more than makes up in the variety and overall service level. The staff is an odd mixture of friendly, right-in-your-face, stand-offish, and indifferent. It makes for a bit of a schizophrenic shopping experience. The prices are a bit high for Prague as well, but worth it if you want the good stuff. However, when I want some good Italian meats or certain wines, or fresh pasta, or a GIANT thing of olive oil, I go here. We came to Palladium mall on September 8, 2018 late afternoon after a long walk around Prague and found the Ráj sýrů stand on level -2. We made our choice and waited for a while until the saleswoman would finish with the customers in front of us with whom she was chatting at the same time. After the people in front of us paid for their purchase and got the receipt, the saleswoman kept chatting with them while we with my elderly and very tired mother were standing and waiting. Finally, I told the saleswoman that we need some cheeses too. She became very angry that I interrupted her chat and began shaming me for that. Finally she said that it is her business and she decides what to do (to chat or to sell) and refused to sell us her cheeses, returning to the conversation with the previous customers.
