I don't really give out 5 stars that often but this place really deserves it. I am still shocked and amazed at how good their burger is! I ordered the cheeseburger ($5) - kinda pricey compared to VJ's. But Mrs. Mike's burgers are bigger comparatively speaking. The cheeseburger is on a sesame bun, probably the size of a whopper. The patty is just slightly bigger than the bun and cooked with a slight crisp on the outside but still juicy inside - I love that! The flavour of the beef patty is perfectly seasoned and balances so well with the cheese, pickle, chili, onion and mustard. They don't put too much chili on their burgers so it's not as messy to eat but you still get the chili flavour. Of course I had to order their fries ($3). Now I'm torn on their fries because I was expecting the type of home cut fries (with the skin on) like at VJs but the ones here look and taste like McDonald's fries (although they taste a bit better than McDs). There is no indoor seating as there are only picnic tables on the right side, which is about as scenic as a parking lot/alley - I took mine to go. All the prices listed on the board include taxes so it'll be a round number when you pay (CASH ONLY). They have a king burger (which I'm curious to what in includes), no fat boy but maybe the king burger is their version of one??? They also serve chili fries, milkshakes, and chicken fingers. Note: they are open seasonally (closes for the winter). Tues-Sat 11 am to 7 pm.
