They had a full band and so many sercers scurrying around to serve everybody. I ordered the en enchiladas roja and a side of fruitas. They both were very filling and exquite. My friend ordered empañadas xon queso which was an even larger platter. We both got two chocolates de la francesa and thwy were vwry hot. I would absolutely gove this place fove stars for the food and service. It's vwry popular here in Veraxruz.

But they poured out of small pots, which must be more efficient at keeping the drinks hot. Perhaps since I was obviously foreign, it didn't work for me. As soon as I tapped my cup, my waiter quickly just brought me a fresh cup. Fine with me, as I was more interested in observing the classy old establishment which feels like being in a black and white film with old photos on the walls.

We all ordered different things from the menu, and all of us shared a hige platter of carne pastor. It was enough pastor for six people and we made our own tacos with the tortillas. In fact, I think it was more than 1 kilo. Another friend ordered camarones with coconut and it was remarkable! It made me want to order the same even though I am not a hige fan of seafood. Had the Argentina empanada and the Cheese & Spinach empanada. The cheese n' spinach was awesome. My son had the cheese pizza. Not something you'd probably rush to Mexico to order. But for a kids dinner option, it was pretty good. My wife ordered the seafood sampler. This was fresh shrimp fried; some wrapped in bacon (which was excellent). And also fried calamari. She loved her dish. I had the tampiquena steak which came with fried bananas, and empanada in mole sauce. My dish was really good as well.
