Some locals tapped their cups, and a waiter would fill their cups with separate pours of coffee and hot milk. But they poured out of small pots, which must be more efficient at keeping the drinks hot. Perhaps since I was obviously foreign, it didn't work for me. As soon as I tapped my cup, my waiter quickly just brought me a fresh cup. Fine with me, as I was more interested in observing the classy old establishment which feels like being in a black and white film with old photos on the walls.

Had the Argentina empanada and the Cheese & Spinach empanada. The cheese n' spinach was awesome. My son had the cheese pizza. Not something you'd probably rush to Mexico to order. But for a kids dinner option, it was pretty good. My wife ordered the seafood sampler. This was fresh shrimp fried; some wrapped in bacon (which was excellent). And also fried calamari. She loved her dish. I had the tampiquena steak which came with fried bananas, and empanada in mole sauce. My dish was really good as well.
