They began with a powerpoint presentation which was actually very helpful because it showed the different types of foods in different areas. We had a chance to look at the different types of Nigerian spices that are used in the food - we passed them around. We were very well educated before we tried the food. They were so nice to accommodate me as a vegetarian! I loved the beans in particular because they were so spicy and delicious. My partner almost died though because it was so hot. it was very funny. I'd sampled some of their food at a Yelp event in the past but I was so excited to get to try an entire meal. Vegans and vegetarians: there are so many delicious options! We had the peppered broccoli, the vegetarian jollof sushi, the vegetarian buka pies and the jollof rice for dinner with the puff puffs in spicy chocolate and chin-chin poppers for dessert. The jollof rice is pretty spicy (which I liked) and it pairs perfectly with the broccoli. I loved everything and we had plenty of leftovers. The standout is definitely the puff puffs. They're kind of like a mini doughnut covered in chocolate sauce (with a kick). I can't wait to attend a cooking class in the future but at least for now, I'm happy to have the option to order delivery from them on Saturdays.

Attending a presentation there this past week, I finally had the opportunity to see what Kitchen by Brad had to offer. At the front of the establishment is a reasonably large room, a perfect venue for the presentation I attended. Offered that evening were a variety of nibbles, presented tapas style, all of which were delicious! Standouts for me were short ribs which were prepared to delicious, tender perfection (unlike many places where they can be tough and/or dry). Two other items that were standouts were wonderfully prepared jumbo prawns in a spicy sauce and a "to die for" stack of candied bacon. Numerous other items were also offered, all well prepared and very tasty. Also offered were above average pairings of a white and red wine, and a very good prosecco. Service was provided by a very capable and friendly young lady and Brad made numerous appearances as well.
