Google Review for Nikki A. Uri, Family Law Attorney…read more One important factor that affected my case: Nikki Uri is visually impaired. She cannot read or review documents directly and requires an assistant at all times. In my experience, this created major miscommunications, delays, and an overall lack of proper legal support. When you are going through trauma, relying on an assistant to interpret and filter everything is not enough. It failed me--and it may fail you too. I hired Nikki A. Uri for my divorce after a 15-year relationship. We married in 2016, but I had been with Robert since 2007--building businesses, acquiring properties, and supporting his financial growth. Her office failed me at every level. We had 8 properties. I walked away with only 3. Over $2 million in marital assets were never addressed. I received no compensation or credit for Social Security. I had two restraining orders due to physical abuse--one for 1 year, another for 2 years. There was no attempt to pursue civil claims for abuse, long-term exploitation, or hidden assets. They dismissed all of it. Her YouTube videos and ads claim she goes "above and beyond" with forensic accountants and full legal strategy. That did not happen for me. I received no aggressive representation, no accurate asset division, and no protection. One year after the divorce, I contacted her again to tell her the split was wrong and unfair. She dismissed me and said it was "correct." I have emails proving otherwise. If you are a woman escaping abuse, narcissistic control, or financial manipulation--this is not the law office for you. You will walk in vulnerable and walk out with nothing. This is my experience. I have the records. And I'm posting this to protect other women before it happens to them. Please protect your self..... I have had the pleasure of working with Stephen Schahrer Esq. on many cases. The thing I like best…read moreabout Stephen is he is a litigator and his thinking if superior in how he approaches his cases. Legal work is a tough area that we as businesspeople are forced to attention and approaching it as it is written in the law does not lend to success in your case work. The key to a greater understanding and approach to tough cases is to add the human element into the decisions and this is done by understanding the argument that will be presented in front of the courts. Further the determination of your case and if it should be a jury trial or a single opinion as a judge. Once you see these arguments as they will come together in real life allows you to make the proper decisions as the plaintiff or defendant in any case. Since most cases do not reach this point, the potential argument is critical in setting the perception of the opposing council long before you enter the costly expense as felt in the farther progression in the case. Stephen sees the argument in advance, understands the law and presents it to you for a clarity that allows you to either take the risk or remove yourself from a case without an upside potential of your projected benefit. If he does not know, he will seek the advice. Large fees for the legal team's education are not a path I ever would suggest. This is not Stephen's approach.
