I attempted to book ChelanGlam for my wedding hair and makeup. Unfortunately, it never came to fruition due to their lack of communication. It took nearly 2 weeks from my initial inquiry just to get sent a questionnaire. After filling that out, it took nearly 3 more weeks to hear back regarding estimates, and then yet another week to actually receive those estimates. After having to wait for almost 6 weeks, I was then told my estimate would expire in 7 days. Due to a family emergency that came up, I wasn't able to accept within that time frame. I reached back out shortly after, apologizing for the delay and asking if they could extend or resend the estimates. No response. After seeing photos of their work online, I was really looking forward to booking them, but that never happened. I realize they're a small company, but I don't understand why any of this communication would or should take THAT long. And even if they weren't able to resend my estimate for whatever reason, ANY response would have been appreciated over silence. I think it's a bit inconsiderate to make brides, who are actively trying to compare/book vendors, sit around forever in hopes of getting a reply. Ultimately, it worked out in the end. I booked someone else who responded promptly and had rates that I felt were more reasonable. (ChelanGlam quoted me a rate of $860 just for bride hair/makeup, plus trial, which was a few hundred dollars more than any other estimate I was given for the same services.) read more

We were happy with the quality of the makeup artists, but unfortunately not thrilled with the outcome from the hairstylist. Both the Mother of the Bride and Matron of Honor's hair did not stay up for very long, and had to be re-pinned before the ceremony even started. read more

I contacted Kiersten on behalf of my sister for wedding hair and makeup. She was prompt with providing information and answered all of our questions. During the trial appointment we had so much fun visiting with both her and Callie. By the end of the evening they had the bride tearing up because she loved her hair and makeup that much. Absolutely loved my experience with Callie and Kiersten. I would recommend them to any bride. Starting with me, my hair and makeup was perfect. Executed flawlessly. I don't think I could have gotten closer to my inspo photo if I tried. My bridesmaids looked flawless as well. Kiersten took their concerns about makeup and made them both look and most importantly feel, so beautiful. They both loved their makeup and looked amazing. Talented is an understatement when it comes to this woman ! Kiersten did my daughters makeup for senior photos and she looked beautiful. Wish we would have found her when we did the first set of photos six months ago , yes she's that amazing when it comes to make up . Outside photos can be tricky when you do evening photos because of variations in the light but her makeup application was so flawless that we went from sun to no sun and all of our pictures turned out stunning ! Having a wedding in leavenworth, I was nervous I would not be able to find a reputable and highly talented hair and makeup team to come to my venue. I stumbled upon chelan glam on Instagram and instantly knew they were the right ladies for the job. I loved that they serviced more areas than chelan and would travel to me. I opted to skip a hair and makeup trial due to COVID, but I knew I could put my absolute trust in them. When they arrived on the morning of my wedding, they fit right in with our group and made us all feel comfortable and beautiful. It was so fun seeing everyone transform into the most beautiful versions of themselves! We all felt so confident and gorgeous all day long! I needed to get my hair and makeup done in the Lake Chelan area on a Sunday and was starting to panic because no salon was open and/or willing to book a Sunday appointment. As everyone's heard, 2020 was not the ideal year for getting married... As my finance (now husband) and I only wanted an intimate wedding, we figured why not keep our date. I picked ChelanGlam to do hair and makeup based on all the pictures and good reviews I'd read about them. Not being from the area, I planned a makeup trial and absolutely fell in love with my makeup!! I was so excited that I had found someone to take the stress off my big day to do my hair and makeup. Or so I thought... That was not the case. As it got closer to my wedding day, we planned out a schedule to make sure we could get everything done before the first look pictures and the ceremony. I thought we were good to go but when it came down to the day of the wedding, the ChelanGlam team was an hour late. This made everything extremely stressful as all the makeup and hair was rushed. I DIDN'T LIKE MY MAKEUP AT ALL and when I told them this, they just kept telling me how good it looked, even though it was extremely dark and nothing like my makeup trial!! Even with everything being so rushed, we didn't get finished with hair and makeup until an hour and a half after our first look was scheduled for which meant we didn't get a lot of the pictures before the wedding that we planned for. Plus, they messed up on my make up so badly I had to fix it myself with the help of my maid of honor. It was truly a disaster which caused so much stress. Even though the ChelanGlam team of girls are amazing and I absolutely loved my makeup trial so I know they are good at their jobs, I wouldn't recommend them for bridal makeup for weddings. read more
